KBL series are nothing but disappointments these days tbh. Like the only good ones are Semantic Error, TMS and…
I dunno, I like a few of them. Like Semantic Error, Light on Me, Semantic Error, Where Your Eyes Linger, Color Rush, Color Rush 2, Cherry Blossoms After Winter, etc.
So, the ending was both good and bad (or rather jarring). It was jarring because there wasn't really a conclusive happy ending as one would expect from most romance series and very abrupt BUT having said that, it made a whole lot of sense too.
Before Dongbaek 'died' he said that he would recognize him first next time which he did since the director had his memories wiped and he did not. So I get the direction they went with this so that the romance can reborn out of the ashes without the director feeling that overwhelming guilt.
So definitely bitter sweet ending for us the viewers since I think all of us wanted the happy ending with sweet moments rather than the sad yet happy rebirth that we got.
One thing that I really hate is Denis's character - it was so vague and it did not make any sense - is he a jaded ex? is he the killer in the past life? What is his deal? More clarity on this would have made that part of the story make a lot more sense.
Overall definitely a decent watch regardless of the plot holes and editing issues.
The amount of tears that I shed during ep. 7 and 8 could fill an entire bucket, I swear. The fact that those idiots thought that running away from the scene instead of HELPING HIM via CPR or something is just.. ugh. I hate them so much. Sure, it's just a drama and all but I hate them. I actually liked Beom Seok in the beginning, at the end? Not so much. Still love Shi Eun as well as Soo Ho. Young Ki's adorable in her own right and I love her attitude. Seok Dae's another of my favourites.
The thing about the HIStory series is they tend to show some controversial relationships. Either as main or support…
I agree with Close To You; Mu Ren and Li Cheng was just.. mwah. I loved them. Crossing the Line was another favourite of mine. The main CP is so damn cute it's unfair.
