What is Joon Hwi's mom planning now? Pin the whole thing on Chung Ah somehow? she's really backed herself into a corner. It's crazy that this drama is so long but characters still feel not very fleshed out. They're just so one-dimensional and I don't understand their motivation behind a lot of their actions!
The first half of this is honestly so great, if they were to ever remake this drama, I'd love to see the original script executed. This drama suffered because of this but yeah, health comes first. It's just a let down after an incredible start.
Said it once before, but storry is draggy since we're just waiting for characters to find out what we already know, even when a new "mystery" is introduced it's quickly unveiled.
I'm so invested in this drama, can't wait for next week's episode. The only characters I fast forward past are the father and little sister. Maybe they should've made her little sister a bully? Especially if they're going to try and make us sympathize with Hae Rang for being an orphan and seeing Chung Ah have loving parents or something dumb like that.
I wonder if Kang Shi Wol will fall for Kim Chung Ah. I'm excited to get to know his character at the very least. Hope there's more mystery left surrounding the story that we the audience don't already know. Right now I feel as though we're just waiting for the characters to figure out what we already know.
Her brother drowning trying to find the pendant on his first dive was really disappointing writing-wise. Like the writer just wanted some reason for her brother to die and have it inadvertently be the ML's fault, even though he never asked anyone!
It's a pretty standard Sageuk plot isn't it? Just reminds me a lot of Moon Embracing the Sun, with some slight differences. Would love to watch one without childhood connections or amnesia.
