For someone who hasn't seen In Time With You, was it a tearjerker story? Or are you just not interested in watching a remake of a story you've already seen?

Same. The ending was pretty lackluster for me. Definitely missing a lot of things I loved near the middle of this drama. I think the writer was pretty directionless and didn't know where they were going with this. Even though he ended up with the present-day form of Jae Hee which everyone was concerned about, I felt the origin story of the Perfume was maybe something that should have been introduced earlier if they felt the need to include it at all. As it was, it just felt tacked on at the end. It could've been just a mystical object with no real explanation, but maybe everyone else feels the need to have answers to everything? I don't know, sometimes I like to have some things left to my imagination. I even thought, you've got to be kidding me, she committed suicide and it was all a dream, but at least it didn't get to that point of stupidity. Anyways, this show still had me laughing in stitches during some of the best episodes in the middle.

It began really good. There's just not enough gripping conflicts to keep this plot going.
