I'm not a huge fan of Huai En's casting. He looks like an alien.
π€£π€£ he has the weirdest yet most fascinating face in a kind of very personal opinion if you are totally obsessed with him or not way. I'm team obsessed but I get where you are coming from.
The show has some flaws and a couple of plot holes and inexplicable things BUT I'm really enjoying it. The leads are adorable and it's been a minute since we had a proper Chinese wuxia BL (if we ever had one π) . I don't mind that it does not have explicit scenes, I just really wanted to go back to the way I felt when I saw The Untamed and even though is not the same, i's giving me some of it and I like it. So, yes, we'll continue watching this one.

Shun has some serious issues, but I don't think he is a bad person.
I think so too. He has some things he needs to deal and heal and I understand they way that he is giving his situation and how he grew up. Hopefully he can learn about himself through the show and finds whatever he needs/wants.
Still this early to review but some how I donβt feel connected I really love the Japanese version because of…
I'm feeling the same way as you do. I can't connect with Fourth's character. I feel Aoki was so effortlessly funny and made seem so natural his over the top and extra behavior with his funny expressions and crazy mannerism and I don't feel the same way with Fourth, which is a shame since he is a good actor. I know each actor gives the character his personal take and I think that's the beauty of the different versions, but I can't help feeling there's something missing in this one. I will continue watching it since I love Gemini & Fourth and I will support them but I have a feeling that at the end of it, I will still love the Japanese version more.
It's been a minute since a show made me feel feelings. Every Friday I have this inner struggle because I want to watch what is going to happen but at the same time I know I'll end up in a bad mood because of Ming π€£ That being said, even though I despise Ming, it's so refreshing to see a completely different kind of ML where he is also the villain. Up is nailing this, he is very good portrain narcisimns.
Ok, so don't get me wrong because I like this show but the stories are getting dragged and nothing is moving forward. I really don't understand the 16 episodes. I hope the storyline of Phum & Peem gets resolved so we can focus on Tan & Fang and Q & Toey for the rest of the remaining ones.
I was about to start this but I was hesitant since I really want a happy ending and a good series with maxnat
I honestly don't know what to tell you... it's not good but it's not the worst out there. I feel that if I tell you: "go watch it, you're gonna love it!" you might hate me later π . It's average, 6.5 to me.
Ok so... this was bad and then it got a bit better and then went bad again. It's frustrating because I love Max & Nat but the projects they get are simply bad...
Additionally, let's see if you guys understood the same as I did: 1. The Scarface Tai was wanted by the police in world 1 after he escaped from the Casino and was wounded 2 . Kram helped him and then he died. So no more Tai in world 1 UNTIL 3. Tai from world 2 arrives to world 1 4. They stay in world 1 after Tai from world 2 breaks the connection (or at least that's what I think it happened) BUT 5. Tai is still wanted by the police from world 1
I know it's not the same Tai, but the police doesn't know that, I mean they are the "same" person and I found the whole thing hilarious (not to say stupid). π€£ Did I miss something or understood everything completely wrong or is a little plot hole we all love and adore? β€οΈ
"Red flag" is way to mild for Ming - "monster" is better. I don't see how they can redeem him - he's not only…
For some reason your comment makes me want to see the show more π€£ we will continue to see how everything unfolds... maybe it can be a learning experience π€
