It's interesting to read everyone's perspective in the comments because they clearly reflect the cultural clash…
Honestly, for me, this is the best part of the show. They are showing the cultural differences in a very subtle (and quite accurate at least for me) but real way. Jungo is very Japanese in the way he acts and Hong is very Korean. The "native - foreign" couple representation is well portrayed but it can be hard to pick up these details (and you can even think they are having the dumbest fights) if the person watching is not familiar with the countries culture and how people behave because of it.
i die a little on the inside every time Salin calls sun "khun dad"
These shows really know how to build up the cringe in the audience. I see it as a fan service, they really want us to take it all in and make us less awkward people 🙃
I'm liking this show so far (though I'm not crazy about it I must aadmit) but I cannot help but feel that is way to short for the kind of plot they are trying to execute. Sometimes I feel it rushed, sometimes I feel it's not deep enough and nothing gets really elaborated, and sometimes I even think that nothing is happening.
So many fillers scenes that add nothing to the story (I'm talking about you, sex scene in episode 4 with Tonkla and Win) and I want to know the shady daddy business, Nan motives, Tyme motives, the police investigation and so on.
This show was sooo chaotic (and kinda bad) that I became obsessed with it and ended up low key loving it. It has so many flaws: plot holes, delusional situations and writing, violent characters, some non consent scenes, toxic relationships, a little bit of bad acting, weird make up, wigsssss that I trully believe it will become a classic.
Can't wait for the specials episodes, I will be watching them.
I read somewhere that maya isnt a romantic rival but her actions stems from the fact that she is also a hard-of-hearing…
In the manga is never really implied that she likes Kohei but she does some things that you could read them as love, so, so far her character is pretty accurate on how she is confusing us with her actions. I'm excited to see how they continue to show her and if they change her arc from the original story.
I liked this one. Nothing special but not bad either. I did love the pairing though. Great & Inn are really good together and I hope GMMTV will continue to pair them in another BLs and make them part of their "elite BLs couples". I think they would kill it in a type of "Only friends" kind of show.
And let's face it, their visuals are in another level. They look stunning together.
That's it. That's my comment.

Anyway, we will continue and see what happens...
