For real. People stating this is the worst ending ever and how “poor A Jin” lost the “love of her life” is the reason why we don’t have more interesting lead characters as villains. It also shows me how easily many people would get manipulated in real life.
She is crazy and I love her character for it .she was always doomed. The story was always tragic. People should love this show for what it is (and it does it spectacularly well).
The shot of her on top of the rocks is going down in history of best cinematic kdrama shots.
What are people talking about? I loved the ending. It was appropriate!!! Ah jin the cockroach!!!! The weed! the…
I wish people had more of a mindset like this. Like this is what A Jin is. She is difficult to kill, so much even lightning wouldn’t take her out. People need to stop framing it as some tragic love story between Jae Oh and her. She doesn’t care like normal people.
Liking A Jin as a character and recognizing her trauma is one thing. Turning her into a heroine or an innocent victim is something else entirely.
A Jin is a villain. She fits the traits of a sociopath who consistently puts herself above everyone else. And while sociopaths are shaped by their experiences, plenty of people with traumatic pasts choose a different path once they are grown and free from their abusers. A Jin had chances to choose a different path once she was free from her father, but she never took them. She always chose power over In-gang, over Jae-ho, and over Jun-seo.
She will never find real happiness. Something will always feel lacking, and instead of appreciating what she has, she will keep reaching for more.
The final scene shows this clearly. Some viewers think she is smiling, but she is actually unraveling. She has lost the people who were most loyal to her, and in her twisted way, she “cared” about Jun-seo. He betrayed her and then died, which makes him useless to her, and she resents him for it. As she once said, “I don’t care if you are hurt, but I don’t want to be the one to do it.”
In that moment, she is overwhelmed by guilt, anger, and grief. She is stranded at the top with nowhere left to go. A Jin, as she once was, ends there, and what remains is someone even more hollow than before.
People who watched this expecting character growth seriously need to stick to romance dramas. This was always going to be a drama about a downfall and Ah jin is a sociopath, she isn't going to magically change due to the "power of love" Lol. She is cruel and thats why Jun Seo wanted to stop her.
Rating this lower because you liked the male leads despite it being painfully obvious they were gonna get hurt is your fault and no one else's.
You had foresight to drop it at 1 episode lol. I watched up to episode 27 purely because I love the actors but the storyline is too ridiculous. a shame as it was one of my anticipated....
If they do make a season 2 as the original author is discussing, then i would love it to be 18-20 episodes, showing what happened during the 8 years and then when they reach the other shore. Of course it should have the same cast as well.
I love this show and I heard it hit 10k however someone on Twitter said the Yunhe views are low? Is that true? Is it a hit drama? (It’s a hit in my heart regardless ❤️)
Why did the Prince of Langya choose to die in the end? Link: https://kisskh.at/discussions/757799-an-he-chuan/145934-blood-river-background-info-from-novel-universe-of-the-blood-of-youth-dashing-youth
You should put a spoiler tag for people who haven't watched TBOY
In another life , this would be a BL between Han Li and Wang Chan , enemies to lovers lmao 🤣. Wang Chan looked so frustrated and almost heartbroken in the last episode ending.
A 7.8 rating? Seriously? But trash tv series with little depth gets 8.5 and above just because it has more romance and kiss scenes. The rating system on MDL is useless honestly.

She wouldn’t be alive without him when they were younger.
