yes, definitely the excitement during the buzz and wanting to also be in the moment, sharing with other fans and theorizing the story is the most fun part. Compared to a year later, and the buzz already kinda already been said and old news lol which it kinda makes you feel missed out.

But funny u mentioned Ji can, cause by chance a few months before VOS aired, I happened to see that one iconic wire work video of Rui as jican in his long white curtain robe flying and at the time it did give me ideas and thoughts of potential plot came to mind about the scene.

Fortunately tho, I did kinda forgot about that ji can video and didnt think much of any theories on how that character will come into play while watching so when Ji Can showed up first time, im glad I still got surprised when the realization came back to me how they used that scene/character. Totally different persona than what I initially thought he turned out to be! (Thought he was the final form bad boss villain lmao)

If its like more talking on sets and costars having fun around each other might be ok for me. But by the sound of it, alot of major fight movements and raw scenes of actual footages are enclosed so I suppose I wont watch.

But isnt the actual author of the novel the one who wants the gender swap and picks ruirui herself? I dont understand the issue if the creator herself is ok with it... she probably had a change of heart after writing and thought what kind of image will be best portrayed. Its not like some random director came and demanded the change to suit his own directing.

And i dont read the novel but what difference would it even make? Is there some female empowerment plot, specific delicate features or actions, or something similar that ruirui wont be able to bring to justice being male?

Even so, with Rui's soft visuals and acting, im sure he will be able to nail it either way!

Hes the staff that always giving umbrellas and opening doors for Rui during makeup prep right? Omgg, tbh he looks so serious that i didnt think he be a lighthearted, amusing kind of guy lol.
I also saw a wholesome moment where one fan didnt get her letter to Rui and Ruirui was already far away on his way back and getting into the car but this staff was near and saw so he grabbed it and ran so fast after Ruirui before Rui closed his car door 😄😄💓💓

yeah I also haven't seen much but I don't think others collect mail on a daily basis like Rui who has an actual time for it and from every fan present there.
other actors i've seen just collect a few here and there quickly on their way to makeup, into their cars, going to a different schedule where fans will be waving the letters trying to get it to them.
or sometimes other actors just have a once in a while event to collect mails and such, thats why Im just shocked Rui do it every night... its like you can go any day and still be able to see him and give him something while for other actors, its just based on luck if your mail will get to them lols
