Some people who underestimated Tian Jiarui as an actor are likely those who did not watch him in MJTY or FOF.…
honestly thought I was watching like 5 different shows here whenever he changes character roles lmaooo! love the way he gives different vibes in each one, you can really tell the difference!
Ji Ling and Wuyi has been showing so much sugary affections in the past couple episodes where I was still too submerged in it that I would never ever really have thought it would end up being the two of them themselves causing heartbreaking pain to each other..... though im sure there are reasons but actually seeing them go thru this without knowing is just very tragically emotionally heart breaking
If Iโm being honest about Veil of Shadows, it really feels like a show that thinks itโs way smarter than it…
hmmm....does everything has to have meaning? maybe youre the type of person looking for series that gives you underlying messages, or life lessons, relative value and visual impact while some others may watch for other reasons like just going in for the journey, see how the characters work it out, or just watching to pass time without much thought; >very differently from your view.
And I don't think the director ever had claims to want it to be full of significant values or to be mind blowing at all; he could just simply want to show a story about pure love between characters who are too broken and how they find themselves, so this kind of criticism doesn't work in your favor, even though opinions are respected. Meaningful or not, some dramas you just roll with it to enjoy the experience, and for some others, if it is deemed significant, then so be it.
so regarding this time loop.... since Wuyi said she went thru countless times, did Lu Wuyi suddenly got stopped from her recurring laps because at this time of loop out of her many, Ji Ling came to visit her? and so is it logically to say that hes the one that has prevented her from repeating her loops and changed her fate? and I need to understand the puzzle of how did she get a stronger Word Magic than Ji Ling. cause I understand the part where she fights Han Ba and Shiguang over and over to know their moves but after that she was back to be awaken on the bed and her loop starts over again.
does that mean the part where Ji Ling tries to control her to tell him the truth was also a repeated loop and thats how she was absorbing his powers thru this?
How is the most inferior (normal fox) among the casts of Dragon x 2 nine tailed fox somehow presented as the leader…
because hes the one thats interrelated between them all. Hes the one that knows info and secrets from past dragons, 4 demons, and jiuying and all the history since hes been long trained for it. Do you think that a 10th dragon that just got his dragon powers and havent much idea of this whole ordeal until now could just up and lead the group when he just found out his origin? Where do you think these other characters would even begin if they dont get the info from the dragon deity standin whos been preparing for his whole life?
its so funny and cute now that when JiLing and Wuyi really show love to each other, they are just so open and public about it in front of others lols~~
I don't get people's rant about just because a new actor is in, he should get less screen time and is undeserving of getting the hype. If the person fits the role and can deliver his act, So What?? If the director sees the potential in the personโs abilities and trusts in their capabilities to bring the story to life, so be it. They have sharp eyes to select those who are fitted for each role. Even of these allegations that GJM is playing favorites, you have to start somewhere right? If you got the skills, potential, and the look for it, then of course you will get pushed up. Thats how everywhere in the world works; be it at school, work, family, community, anywhere. It shouldn't just be only "popular actors" should get all the main roles. If thats the case, I dont think we can find any more real hidden talents. Each cast was selected to fit their way of acting and overall presence. This is how we find new faves all the time. Yall need to appreciate all the acting and emotions, and personas these actors portrayed more than counting minutes.
Would yall had been happy if all these 4 main characters were given to top popular faves but they suck at delivering and portraying the story and their characters to the people/viewers? I donโt think I would have been moved as much as I am now, because I actually appreciate all the different feelings, emotions, expressive skills these known AND less known actors have shown individually, being partners, and as a team, regardless if they are main characters, supporting, or how much screentime they have.
am I insane or I can watch Tian Jiarui cry all day? Whenever he cries, i can't take my eyes off him...like his emotions are acting and real all the same while being such a majestic visual too...
im loving all the JiLu moments but the bromance was so great tooooo Wu Shiguang sympathizing with Ji Ling's long lonely burden Ji Ling going to comfort Baize's end of life and Baize pledging all his loyalty til the end Ji Ling feeling relief that its still his Lijie and he didn't have to take action at the ruined sand
guys Im shipping: LWY X JLWWY X WSGbut in real life ig Im shipping: CDL X TJR Just watch thiss. Its so cute.https://youtube.com/shorts/h9TVpfW27bg?si=L8oG6N6ukopPp0zH
Well this boy has chemistry with everyone hahhhahaha!
but bro, all of Ji Ling's transformations are hella sick!!???!! like, ppl be complaining about visuals is all GJM can do to his directing but likeeeee, Tian Jiarui is SERVING!!!!
I'm still confused about the Butterfly Demon storyline. If anyone understands it clearly, could you please explain…
From what i got: Both Ji Ling and Lijie were both people in Shilin Sect which is under the rule of the real Dragon Deity Chi Wen. Lijie used to be the old man commander, a human called Yuan Wuhuo, who we saw that went to die in the cave. He was a trainer/commander to young JiLing who just started his Dragon Deity duty after real Chi Wen sealed Jiu Ying (though we havent seen how Ji Ling was chosen to be the deity and brought into shilin sect, unless i missed it).
When the human Yuan Wuhuo went to die in the cave, Jui Ying sent the 2 twins Butterfly Demon to devour the human Yuan Wuhuo to get his form and memories > hence the cocoon. Since the 2 twins butterfly demon originally were 2 people, Yuan Wuhuo was formed again as 2 people>> one evil and one not. The evil one went to Jiu ying and the good one lost his memories and only remembered to go to Shilin sect and so Ji Ling named him Lijie.
though im sure there are reasons but actually seeing them go thru this without knowing is just very tragically emotionally heart breaking

Ji Ling and Lu Wuyi just really really really really love each other wholly desperately!
