LOLLL How many of my fellow BL watchers came here because you are having withdrawal symptoms from "Stay with Me" and saw this poster (or variations of some sort with these two handsome guys) and thinking it is some sort of Chinese bromance and stayed for a different reason?! 🙋♂️🙋♀️
This has kinda 2012 drama vibes and I'm not quite sure if I like it. Honestly the first two episodes were a chore to watch. Pretty mediocre, but there were definitely some scenes that I liked and enjoyed.
But so far generic characters with semi-doormat airheaded pitiful FL and douchebag ML. The over exaggerated acting of FL puts me off highly. The office bullying is unbearable to watch and so annoying.
But I like the enemies to lovers trope if it is well-written. Hope they can pull this off and make it natural, because I can't imagine how they gonna fall in love when it started like this.
I like that he already has a gf, because this usually brings more angst into the story which I like. And I liked the mystery spooky part, especially with ML being kinda "possessed" and that's what's keeps me going.
Has decent comedy and a storyline for something 10 mins per episode. I watched the first 10 eps and will return to watch the remaining 10 in batches of 5.
Do i feel bad for SML ? Yes 100% But he made his choice not to tell her, now he needs to live with that. In my opinion if you diced to propose to your loved one it means you are also ready to share the good AND bad things with the other person. This thing of savior syndrome needs to end, you cant protect your loved every simgle time a bad thing happens...i know it comes from a good place but in the end look at what happened.
Even if she didnt hear lies she would get suspicious in the end, she would probably ask you why you are avoiding her more and more, why arent you making the wedding plans and she would probably think that you do not love her anymore!
