I'm glad the network for this show is iQIYI; It's easier for an international audience to view. I hope Netflix picks it up, like they did with LBFD.
I wish it was easier for international fans to be able to interact with their favorite actors in China. I would really like to send some encouraging words to YCY, and the rest of the cast and crew.
Man... This drama had the potential to be really good, but it turned out to be another disappointment due to the creators failing miserably by slapping all the viewers watching at home right in the face with a horrible ending. That was an awful.. I was mad at myself for wasting 16 hours of my life as soon as the last episode ended. It's almost like they did it on purpose lol.. I cant believe they finished up like that..
Our leads and team productions of this drama are having a very hard time and facing a huge burden because of some closed-minded people tried to boycott this drama in mainland. It's so heartbreaking seeing YCY and DYX broke down during their live broadcast last night until they had to stop the livestream. I'm glad they have each other as they're facing this difficulty together. I just wanna reminds everyone, it's perfectly okay if you don't like a drama, you can give your review but please be wise with your words here because it can hurt other people without you realize it. Perhaps YCY is not the best actress but I think the way she accepted this role and even hired an acting teacher and learned acting everyday in 3 months prior she started shooting this drama showed that she put a lot of effort and so serious with her work. She's a newbie in acting industry and has no background whatsover in acting so I think it would take more time for her to become more and more better. She already did a very good job and has improved so much in this drama. I just hope she's not loosing her confidence too much and stay strong for the better future.
I loved it. What a heartwarming story of unconditional love. Steven is one of the best I've seen in romance. He does not appear greasy in intimate scenes, but rather sweet, passionate and so in love. I'd watch him in any romance show in a heartbeat.
After yesterday's live stream, I am going to fully support this drama no matter what happens . The leads don't deserves this high criticism. From the beginning, YCY was not the best actress but she was good and cute. She is still young and she is learning. Continous hatred isn't the solution. The only thing that I didn't like in this drama is the transition from one part to another(mainly 2nd life) which is the fault of editing teams. SML is annoying but we can skip him. We should stop comparing it with other dramas and judge as an individual one. It is not the best xianxia but is quite enjoyable!
YCY is doing perfectly fine. She's not the best actress but she's also not the worst actress. She's constantly improving and that's what matters. She isn't taking anything for granted. Different opinions are normal but always be respectful and mindful of what you post online, because at the end of the day YCY and all the actors out there are just humans with emotions like us. They get hurt too.

People should watch regardless and rate it themself.
LiFei looking good as ever! That face is carved from marble. Super surprised with Hu YiYao's performance here and damn, she serving looks! Overall just the visuals are peak with these two and their dynamic and convos so far were very enjoyable. Only regret is the slow 快手 micro drama format of 2-3mins EPs dropping seemingly at random.
So I heard there is movie coming, does anyone know if it's the movie version of the series or if it is a sequel!? I hope it's the latter because they need to change this terrible end.
For such a short & low budget production the director is Godly being able to pull all of those Beautiful shots. I'd say the series' strongest point is the cinematography, to where it even looks better than a lot of productions with higher budget. The story is pretty simple but it's well delivered. The costume dept did a really good job as well. Everyone fitted their roles & the leads have both the visuals & chemistry. Seriously the Tension?!! Overall a nice quick binge, would definitely recommend.
