i’d say this is a pretty good debut performance from the ML. not outstanding, but hints that he will do well in the future with better direction and experiences.
this is my first time seeing the FL in a drama although her cv is quite long. i do find her kissing style to be none existent. the ML is trying his best (and doing all the work) while she seems unable to open her mouth just a smidge for it to be believable. it’s a bit of a turn off tbh.
So...they are trying to make it seem like people are mad at the "foundation" and not the irrational growth of the FL as a general. WEAK WRITING and very superficial plot armour given to a her. Her strength became laughable at one point because of how terribly impossible it was. How is this THE ACTOR'S FAULT? If anything, he gave the drama some real soul with his acting. His character was reduced to ash by the writer. The male lead was called "handsome" a hundred times...and despite his solid background as a general, he was sidelined beyond romance. It made the story very very unrealistic. Also, yes...anyone who has trained for a fight before knows that chinese dramas are pushing PAPER THIN standards on men. Are they even getting protein? The women also look incredibly weak. None are suited for general roles. The govt being mad makes sense. They are reversing yearrrs of work on public health and nutrition with these standards and 100 filters to get rid of every tiny imperfection. Realistically, even your average soldier can defeat that PAPER THIN PHYSIQUE they are pushing on men. Depressing!

The site has been like this for a while. It's just a race for people to farm engagement and it works. I used to try to write thoughtful reviews, but they just get overshadowed by the first user to hit some kind of unspoken word count which matches the popular opinion of the show (Either love it unconditionally or hate it and it was a waste of time).
Oh my gosh, this was so cute! This was such a lovely story filled with so many touching moments, cats, and food. The story is so simple, therapeutic, and a reminder of the small, beautiful things in life. From its amazing cast to its storyline that had me hooked from the start, this series was a joy to behold. Warning: be sure to eat before watching, or you will crave food the entire time! Seriously!
This made my diet go haywire a couple times, but fattened up with carbs and kitties is a perfect way to spend the last bit of these cold months as spring flowers and rainstorms battle for which gets to fall on my head any given day.
Tooooooo cute. I think I took as many screenshots of this tiny 2 hour adventure as I do of most 12-hour dramas, 😂 I am madly in love with the cats that picked them for this! Not a one didn’t make me need a flight to swoop them up and smuggle them back home with me nestled in a baby sling hidden under my oversized jacket. 😼😇 (I also love the voices that accompanied each cat, bravo, hoomuns!) Perfect travel writer choice, not as cute as the cats but darn close. Ending with the granny was perfection 👌 with a picture that made me all warm and fuzzy, my feline companion over here already both of those. 24/7.
are they seriously trying to say "it would take so much longer and cost so much more if we wanted to film the same thing for real" because yeah THAT'S YOUR FUCKING JOB and if you can't afford it then you don't do it! WHY SHOULD PEOPLE PAY TO SEE WHAT YOU WEREN'T WILLING TO PAY TO CREATE!!! Why must these ass movies deplete our already dwindling resources and kill off jobs in a dying global economy. IDC about the jobs lost by top actors but what about the b-listers and the extras and the production crew and the writers and the costume department, people who aren't rolling in the wealth their fame has brought them? I cannot believe this person thinks they are some kind of admirable trailblazer doing what no one could.
