Very disrespectful to make a post about his death with political talking points instead of showing Alan love respect and sending condolences, I wonder who you work for Lily Alice?
The apparent hierarchy between the laborers, the bandits and the police bureau was depicted so well. I really enjoyed the almost chain pieces-like climb up the social ladder; when you think the person who sits at the head of the table is in charge, you seem them bowing down to someone else. The whole machinery with all its cogs is rotten and rusty. I can't wait to see how this upside-down order will turn into a proper trade center.
Good production value so far and I want to be engaged but this writing is so sloppy and repetitive. The villains…
Interesting, where you see sloppy and repetitive, I see time taken to build characters. I don't see the need for 16+ episodes, which only increases the likelihood of the drama actually becoming sloppy.
And there is no need to choose, you can read manga and watch kdramas.
As someone who is enjoying the series overall and think the actors are doing a good job with what they have been given, I can see why someone else may not feel connected as much to the series or the characters.
From what I have seen, the vast majority have been enjoying the show very much. This week I have seen nothing but praise for Jimmy and First's performance in the last bit. This is a good thing right?
My opinion is this : as someone who is absolutely obsessed with acting ;
I think Jimmy (who is, in this , pigeonholed as the more mature/tame figure ) is doing a very good job. In all the previous episodes his character was served as a catharsis for In's growth and the character has done what he is supposed to do, UNTIL the last episode where he got to shine too. All his casual scenes were well acted.
This last episode, has proven that he can be excellent in heavy scenes( First's confrontation scene, his breakdown, him rushing to his friend and performing CPR on him; all of them were portrayed very well). We got a glimpse of it in the last scene of episode 2 but episode 9 solidified it.
I think Sea(who in this, have a heavy /meatier role) is also doing great. You can see his scenes becoming lighter, more casual in the last episode, leaving place for Jimmy's character to take his own burden.
I know sometimes it can hurt seeing someone trash something you like but don't take it to heart. Not everyone will enjoy what you enjoy. Not everyone will have the same opinion as you do, and that's ok.
This comment section is one of the most positive comment sections I have seen about a BL series here . The vast majority of the users here have nothing bad to say about Jimmy or Sea's performance and it doesn't look like most them are even part of their fandom...so relax.
Why does every story have to have a boring romance? Is that some kind of unbreakable rule?
not every story has to have it and romance is not boring at all! it's what gives characters an aim and emotion. love makes people show their vulnerable side as humans. after all, romance/love is what makes us humans.
QYL is just too pretty! 😭💗Especially in episode 6. In some angles, his visual is strikingly similar to Chang…
yes, he is have similar face bone like Chang Hua Sen, and from some angles he is quite look like Cheng Lei and Zhang Kangle too.. I prefer him in serious mode more than smiling mode, because he is strikingly handsome in serious scene..LoL.. hope he will get male lead role in big budget drama..but yes he need more drama experiences... he will play in Tiger sniff the rose with LYR and MZY..hope he can show cases his talent..
Are we really going to have a SE??? 😞
RIP you will be dearly missed
