oh no, really? What ep does it start to go downhill?
I don’t remember the specific ep but after the poisoned daughter arc, it’s FL taking care of her husband coz he took poisoned in her stead causing ML to be jealous, then ML finding out FL’s might have killed his mother, now it’s noble idiocy of FL trying to drive ML away by fake marriage with her husband, it’s just one thing after another lol.
I feel like the female lead should be described as a sociopath (since she is supposed to have Antisocial Personality Disorder) rather than a psychopath (“a psycho”). Those are not the same and her behavior fits the traits of sociopathy more, I guess, not psychopathy (she isn’t very cold, calculating or highly manipulative, she is more impulsive, prone to “throwing a tantrum” when upset/not getting what she wants and her behavior tends to be more sudden and aggressive). “A psychopath” seems to be the most popular phrase to describe abnormal behavior though, and is used inaccurately in some situations, which might be misleading.
(Not that media/kdramas is that great at portraying mental illness, conditions and disorders etc but anyway)
The story for me had a great potential to be a long series like 36-40 episodes since I find the story interesting, Both ML and FL had a chemistry, and they could really bring out their characters specially the ML who had another soul inside his body I can tell that he will become a popular actor and will have many opportunities for him.
binge watching this in two days. Cant wait for the last 2 episodes.
the production must invest a lot in this short drama because it screams expensive and beautiful. and that ep1, wow!! some crazy scenes they were *jaw drop*
They got the key lights so bright in some shots that they're looking like a glazed doughnut or a honey baked ham.
I didn't see who the director was before starting but I had an inkling when I was zoomed in on a nostril/eye flare and then zoom-cut to an over the shoulder high key + tornado hair combo. He's not a bad director, but his style of directing always makes me giggle at the most inappropriate times.
Literally every MDL users has problem with every K-drama that has released recently. Suddenly a Bunch of Haters appeared which u only Can see in K-Drama discussion section, Criticizing every Plot,Nitpicking with every details unlike C-dramas.This is really getting suspicious day by day. I think if its not for religion they would pick up something else to ridicule it.
To me this drama is phenomenal so far. The whole story is so Charles Dickens style. The character of Mu Deok is an epic, multi dimensional masterpiece....
I'm not that this drama is good or anything, it's just wild to me that so many seriously care about a satan ml in a fictional tv show. I was raised on so many christian mythology horror and action films and tv shows. 😭 Didn't we all watch that one My Demon show a while back and wasn't he also (probably) satan?? It's just pretend in a silly show, so I am honestly confused that this turned out to be a dealbreaker for so many viewers. Gonna gonna go read some "Paradise Lost" and pull up my fav devil/ezekiel stone fic from Brimstone on AO3.
