Pass on this one if you value your sanity. And if you value a realistic interpretation of mental illness. And if you value good acting. Just pass on it altogether, kids. This one is for the drama fan that values plot twist gimmicks and icy glares rather than story and substance.
Ack, if Cha Seung Won wasn't in this article I'd be upset. He was perfect in 71 Into the Fire. That's one of my all-time favourite movies, though; I'm hella biased.
Just need to come back and argue. WHY the hell is this ranked number 4? This is objectively not a good drama. I can pick a drama with the EXACT SAME LEAD COUPLE that's better than this one- never mind the numerous Chinese, Japanese, and Korean dramas that far overshadow this. Can people please just rewatch this drama and double check their ratings? It makes me really upset to think of people looking for a good drama, checking kisskh, and finding this piece of trash. I like to think that the only people that can give this a rating above 6 have literally never seen another drama. Ever.
Hmmm. I think this is a very interesting and important topic. However, I don't necessarily think that some of…
Moooooooooooost of the wist grabs aren't too bad, but in a couple of dramas it's been kind of freaky. The man will drag the girl through an entire room, with her fighting with all her strength the entire time. She'll complain loudly, "it hurts, stop!" and the guy just keeps going. And even that is sometimes lauded as acceptable.
This is a very important article.
Some people don't even realize this about dramas.
The only thing I feel like defending is the slap in Myung Wol, and a lot of slaps in dramas in general. Males and females tend to slap each other around equally in dramas, and most of the time it's pretty excusable to me. As long as it doesn't escalate into something more.
I skipped from episode 2 to 39 because it was too obvious I pretty much understood the story in just a short time.…
LOL! That's what I thought you meant, but I wasn't sure. Although that means that there is a lot to be said of the OST; you find it memorable in only 3 episodes xD
A bittersweet epic. Loved it. This is the story of a woman who worked for what she wanted, and got it. She wasn't afraid to be a bit of a bitch either.
The drama itself was ok but the ending was terrible. Might as well tell you now...so you don't waste your time.…
OMG. I'm literally at the beginning of the last episode and thought that any possible spoilers I saw would be.... I don't know... irrelevant? I WAS WRONG
I WAS REALLY WRONG
I can't resist sharing that my favourite Asian food is ddeokbokki. God. I've been having a huge craving for it recently. Especially when it has the nommy little fishcakes in it ;-;
I really do mean to give this a go, as my last attempt was when it was first airing. I watched the first 5 minutes…
Egh, I've actually never watched the Korean version... I don't even want to give that one a chance, as mean as it sounds. Not a huge fan of Minho, and Sulli looks very feminine. Maybe when I'm feeling really desperate for the Hana Kimi story.... hehe. I think I might actually just suck it up and watch this version.
I watched this ages ago, why is this not on my list!? Either way, this was kind of a strange movie from what I remember- which isn't very much. Is that a testament to the quality of this movie? *shrug*
Saw it by coincidence on Netflix, and thoroughly enjoyed it. It lacks a huge impact like a psychological thriller would have, but it's still a good movie for some gore and chills. The characters are also interesting and rather likable. Shows just how screwed up some people can be and the circumstances that got them there, and with subtlety rather than over the top moral pushing. Certainly worth watching.
I find it hard to focus on this drama because of how inexplicably annoying the female lead is (she was fine in…
I ADORED them together in 'Secret' as well! I actually don't think I've seen the female lead in anything else, but I was really surprised at how much better she was in Secret. And yeah, I like the plot of this drama, but there are a lot of ridiculous and nonsensical moments. I'm really baffled at how highly rated it is. I was starting to feel alone in my distaste.

*Edit: I read some of the other comments. Apparently it does!? wth!? LOL.

(I won last time though, so just ignore this)
Some...how...???
Alas, my dreams couldn't be.
