How's the romance? Any love triangles? Happy ending?
The romance is pretty subtle but steady throughout if that makes sense, and their chemistry is very good. The writing kind of fell apart in the last quarter though and the ending was not very clear. There is a major love triangle from SML that eventually gets resolved.
I couldn't tell if at the very end she was imagining ML again like she did the ring? The impression I got was she was imagining it since we last saw him looking depressed and beaten down, and then he was all clean cut and chipper again in front of her...so was it real or not?
Also, was he shot in the head or not? But he was just fine? This last episode wasn't really clear.
As much as I loved this drama, their romance really took a nosedive after ML's friend's death. He became cold to her and never really came back, and never seemed to reciprocate her love...
What's garbage about it? Yours is literally the only negative comment. Everyone else loves this drama.
Who is arguing or putting others down??? Lol all I asked was for him to explain himself because I was curious. This is one of the greatest dramas of all time imo, and the best sageuk I’ve seen, and the first negative I’ve comment I’ve seen, so of course someone would be curious as to why someone thought it was "garbage." I swear people like you on here just talk to talk, no one is even arguing. He is conveniently ignoring me though.
I don't feel their chemistry and they don't look like a couple to me, idk he's statuesque like he just stepped out of a photo shoot and she's scruffy like she barely even does her hair with a bitchy attitude. Kind of an odd pairing that I'm not really feeling. And at this pace the writer might as well go balls to the wall and start making completely random nonsensical things happen because nothing in the plot has been explained or makes much sense.
I'm honestly starting to wonder if MDL mods are the ones downvoting all the episodes of Korean dramas to try to regulate the ratings somehow. All the episodes were close to 10s until someone went through and gave them ones again. This happens in every new drama I've seen lately, but not with Cdramas.
There was something off about this drama that I couldn't put my finger on. For some reason the set was so obvious and it was like most of the actors were overacting (KNG was great though). I haven't felt this from other historical dramas. Direction and cinematography maybe?
