You are attacking everyone on here for no reason and being very rude about it. Everyone agrees the writing in this drama and the plot in general were a mess. It doesn't mean they hate the show or are shipping a specific actor. Relax

This drama kinda gave up on that plot line, we were supposed to believe it "didn't really matter" if it worked or not. I still don't even know if it was real or not in the end either because the writing was all over the place

I haven't been "complaining" for a long time at all so not sure what you're talking about, you're making things up. I've posted here maybe 3 times total. And I said episodes 8 and 9 were trash. I loved the previous episodes, which is why I'm watching, not that it's any of your business what I choose to watch or why. How about if you don't like someone's opinion you don't comment on it either?

Same, usually it's the ones like this that I'm most looking forward to and look amazing that end up disappointing, and the ones I'm not expecting that end up blowing me away. Hoping this will change that.

I think you are. Even my boyfriend who’s not into dramas admitted he liked this when we watched at few episodes together. It’s not only sweet and feel good but it also literally draws you in with the OST and acting, it's magnetic. If you didn’t get to experience what most people felt watching this drama for the first time then I feel sorry for you :)

You didn't hurt my feelings at all. I'm just referencing your exact comment because what you're saying you hate about this drama doesn't make sense. You love the actor and his performance is good but there is not one redeeming scene?

Well if you appreciate his acting in this then wouldn't there be more than one redeeming scene in part 2 so far? Especially in episode 11 there were too many with him to count.

I watched episode 1 a while ago and then put it on hold. How's the romance in this?

Romance in this especially in episodes 8 and 9 is ruining this drama. Don't tell me it's necessary for ML's character development, there are a million other ways they could have given ML something to fight for...his family, or he could have been a single dad and they got his kid involved or something-a totally random idea to prove a point. I hate that they instead chose to center so much around this annoying love square with dragging writing in the middle of this noir masterpiece.

I mean, I'm never bored of JCW and I could watch him all day. But him and Bibi's plot line just does not do it for me, and I still find the writing in those scenes dragging.

The whole love square is a snooze fest. The drama would be so much better without it.

Before this aired I was looking forward to the romantic tension the most and thought it would be one of the best aspects of this drama, but now I don't feel any of it is necessary at all. I'd prefer more focus on the action and tension between the gangs and police like in episodes 6 and 7.

People really make up stuff to complain about. That’s what the entire drama has been except the very beginning, and why are you acting like that’s a bad thing? The entire plot has been setting up doom and gloom amidst their love story. And anyone who can’t appreciate the ML’s performance and all the other exceptional qualities of this drama, well then this drama is not for you. Maybe watch a good day to be a dog.

Didn’t they say two years later at the end of episode 10 in part 1? After he reads the letter

Yeah. That, and I would have liked to have seen that one just prior to Dohyung pulling up in his car and us meeting Joonmo. But too late now. I just thought it was a great scene.

This should have been included. If not investigating the whole crime scene then at least from the point he chases the guy out of the house. We would have gotten the idea. As brilliant as this drama is I do think it could use more character focus & backstory like this.
