I just watched ep. 3 with the hope it got better but... it didn't. For me it's just a bland romcom, full of cliché…
Good Manager is actually the only one of his that I haven't seen, so maybe I'll check it out and stand corrected. I've seen him in Wok of Love though and had the same impression as in this role..he's one of my favorite actors but I think he is better suited for drama

I don't think it's bland at all, it's a cute simple and funny romcom. Not sure what anyone else was expecting or thinks is missing, it is what it is. I'm enjoying it although I admit this might be my least favorite Junho role so far. He's not bad but I don't think he shines in comedy
As much as I'm enjoying it, things are moving so fast. Looks like next week he'll already find out FL isn't really with her BF. Then what's left to keep them from getting together? The writer is going have to get super creative otherwise we're in for lots of repetition in later episodes. I hope they don't just fall back on the mean rich family trope.
I am just so obsessed with this drama right now. This is perfection in executing a sweet fluffy romance in every way. The leads are impeccable with chemistry that's off the charts with brilliant acting and microexpressions. Even a split-second scene of getting into a taxi and telling the driver where to go in an emergency, they somehow manage to have heart-fluttering chemistry. There isn't a scene with these two that's not sizzling. It's those looks they give each other in secret, the breaths, the pauses...The OST too is beautiful. Every episode is perfect, there hasn't been one moment or scene when I've felt bored or like it's even a little slow and I can't remember the last drama that gave me that feeling. The characters and their relationship are so well fleshed out. They did something really special with this drama.
I know it's not realistic but I seriously hope they don't get together until the very end because I am living for this juicy slow burn. Their chemistry is off the charts
Am I the only one bothered with grammatically incorrect English titles nowadays? What does King the Land even…
I've seen the title 킹더랜드 translated literally as "Kingdomland." Someone somewhere along the line decided to translate it as "King the Land." Why not "King of the Land" which is grammatically correct, idk. It bothers me too
ABH is an excellent actor and nails every diverse range roll he is given. His acting is definitely not the problem…
You should watch him in Yumi's Cells, My Name, and Itaewon Class, all very different roles. He's definitely a good and diverse actor, and this is actually the most stoic character (so far) I've seen him play yet.
