It's definitely worth watching. It's a very high quality drama with great production value. The plot has a lot of focus on a side couple love triangle and education, but it's picked up the last two episodes.

The most versatile I've seen him was in Liberation Notes, and I got the impression he was really pushing himself there. Maybe he's on his way to improving, who knows, but I couldn't finish either this or Because this is my first life because of him.

He seems like a really good director I wish he'd get better scripts

On episode 12 and I hate everyone.

One of my top dramas ever, and one of only 2 dramas to make me cry. Ep 1 was a masterpiece, never cried and laughed so much in a single episode.

It was a pretty dry 2022 for me, not sure what was going on with dramas last year (imo)...been hoping this year will be better but still nothing's really hooked me yet

Unfortunately same. Not a fan of the writer personally so I'm not getting my hopes up. And I was expecting it to be a lot more romance focused than the highlights make it appear.

I know what chemistry is. I know it's not just lust or being lovey dovey 24/7. There have been maybe a couple scenes of 2-3 split seconds of anything resembling chemistry (a hint that they might be thinking of each other or happy to see others' text, etc.) and that's it. No tension when they're together. She is interested in him and has a little crush but that's all. Even when she put her arms around him and fell down it was more about some kind of possible trauma reaction from him (not sure about the reasoning for his reaction yet) and her being offended than anything romantic. Romance is simply not the focus of this drama, at least not yet.

I don't get any chemistry either. It's a high quality drama but the romance/chemistry is seriously lacking. We'll see what happens in episode 7, it looks like they're finally going to start focusing more on that aspect.

It was slow and I dropped it because it didn't grip me, but I know a lot of people love it. I have no problem with "slow" dramas and some of my favorites are ones that are considered slow. This one leaned more toward boring for me.

I haven't been this into a cdrama since My Little Happiness. Any suggestions for cdramas just as bingeworthy?

This is my first time with this FL and I'd heard bad things about her, but I was really surprised that I didn't find her THAT bad...I mean she's definitely not great, but I don't get the hate. There are a ton more stone-faced wooden or otherwise bad actresses that I can't stand. She hasn't come across as wooden to me at all even though I was expecting her to.
But still, I agree this drama is a joke. Such a shame because I too was looking forward to it for the ML.
