I kinda wished CC would’ve at least stabbed the guy when she had the chance. He went from fake being a nice guy to a schemer, even ‘accidentally’ killing ‘you know who’ just for him to end up dying like?? Its alright.
It’s a HE.
I feel like it would’ve been better if we got to see CC and Wang Ye having a second wedding or something rather than JY and LY bc they technically already did that with the special episode years ago.
Other than that, the OSTs were nice. The editing was fine.
WNY commented on how the fragment glass wasn’t creative for a piece that stores data and I agree. I remember coming across similar comments on other pages where people even had transparent phones and viewers were saying it was so distracting!
Ep 20 trailer is very exciting 😍
A lesson on how to make your partner cry? - Make HIM (not yourself) cut onions.
I wonder what’s the deal with his parents just dying all of a sudden?
They took the time to focus more on the cop and his backstory with his fiance and Tham’s friend, Win who was investigating something.
I had to go back to look at Missing: The Other Side to see what was missing. The ml was a lot more interactive with the souls there than what they show Tham doing here. They all had a backstory, their own rooms and day to day life in the village. They didn’t focus too much on the friend because he died in plain sight and the police found him. Most of those living in the village were buried somewhere and hard to find as oppose to this version where they’re (the first case and Win) hidden in an abandoned building.
Do I like this diversion from the original plot? It’s hard to say. I like that there is more backstory between them, it explores the emotional depth of the two that wasn’t really in the original version but it also means that they used up a whole episode lessening the time to wrap up the shows finale. It seems they have rewritten this arc here to tie it up somehow somewhere. (Win bumping into the lady in the white dress before Tham found him seconds later maybe or was that the cop’s fiancé?).
The whole purpose of the plot is the village. I would have liked it more if they actually focused on the village and the souls there. We’re almost halfway through and haven’t gotten past much.
How to hold a gun? Have your husband use his chopsticks to teach you. 😂 (New technique to the ‘I will hold you in my arms and show you’ method. Guaranteed effective and efficient. 👌)
The change in plot in ep 16? How far fetched is this omg.
I loved their final interaction as well. And ML starting to show some feelings.. is it the drugs? Were they always…
I had the same thoughts! Ep 11 or 12 I think showed he was recognising that he was feeling something whilst looking at her from afar. I say the drugs were enhancing those feelings further a bit. It’s how I look at it but who knows lol
Wang Yang Xin is more popular now thanks to his activities in the short drama market. They should have left it…
If people didn’t mention it, I probably wouldn’t have realised I, too have also watched some of his verticals before. I watched so many that I literally don’t remember them anymore because they often reuse the same plot lines, or have similar tropes.
yah I think the beginning is the most confusing...I feel like there isn't much of an introso the first ep...FL…
Yh so the whole backstory thing is explained in ep 25 & 26. Ml had a bulletproof vest on which the fl confessed saying she didn’t know about it until after he showed up alive. I think it was kind of obvious since the special effects for the blood looked ‘powdery’.
2episodes per day is such a cliffhanger, if i buy that 2episodes does is carry over to the next 2episodes? Please…
Technically those 2 eps combined is 38mins equating to the usual 40 min c drama. Meaning its scheduling 1 ep a day of an actual full length drama for VIP. The express 2 extra episodes combined is just the usual 2 ep 40 min ish scheduling except you pay more for it lol. Yes, if you buy the extra 2 ep, it’ll upload the next 2 once the clock hits.
It’s a HE.

I think this season is ok.
I sort of wished they edited this as a full length drama instead.
I think ep 14 was it for me here. That convo they had? That was amazing.
PS: I’m going broke.
25 & 26 rehashes into how the fl ended up adopting her child and meeting ml.
There are obviously flaws but it’s decent for a family short drama.
Honourable mention to Mr Papa who spent $20 Million US DOLLARS!! on a look a like painting his own daughter had on a shelf. 😂
