wahhh those two eps were great, no need for consolation!

honestly, i thought, it would be much worse, but the misunderstanding didnt drag out too long, and all the sweet scenes in between!!!!!!!!
there was more sweetness than bitterness, so i am all fine!!

and i said in my other comment, gosh, it was great, to see TTJ killing that annoying king, and that nanny of his, that betrayed him.

i just fast forwarded all those annoyning scenes with that bitch of a sister ( I am a little bit confused though, in the beginning of the drama she was quite a good person (despite being shunned because she was not daughter of the legitimate wife), what was the tipping point, that she turned into a scheming witch?

phewww, aside from the fact, that there were SO MANY CUTE SCENES! both between ML / FL and SFL/SML , the misunderstanding didn't last long, so that was like, not depressing at all.

and it was sooooooooooo satisfying seeing TTJ killing that annoying king, and the nanny that betrayed him!

i am just tooo afraif, everyone like ok nearly everyone says, how there is tons of misunderstandings!
i am totally on camp TTJ, so actually, it doesnt matter how many or whom he kills, considering his childhood, and the gazillion people who betreyed him, actually, i think, he is right in wanting to end the world (even all those, innocents, who have not betrayed him yet, coz from his experience, those are just the future-betrayers....)
as long as the FL doesnt betray him too hard... maybe i can live with that....uhhhh

actually i dont know, i do not do the username tagging manually. it just appears, when i reply to the person, that i want to write something to.

this is more or less unrelated to TTEOTM, but its something I have been asking myself the last 3 years or so already:

when is a television or movie star in China considered to be a "proper" actor, and when is he/she "just" some Idol?
is a proper "star" only someone, who went from childhood to some acting or singing school?
and those "idols" are ähh normal people, who got cast because (obviously) they look good, but don't have acting school background?

(I just remember the ancient old controversy about both Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo back then getting cast for The untamed, and like the whole world, and all readers of the novels said, they are totally unfit for their respective roles? and there was hate without end before the drama was even filmed or aired? were these two also only "idols and singers" and not actors prior the drama?)

(is it like in US, Western countries, where some actors /actresses are saying , they are "better" than the usual normal actors, coz they have a "theater" background/ went to acting school? and not like some random dude like ähh Van Diesel or Arnold Schwarzenegger or those action movie blockbuster stars, that had no acting education, and just good "lucky" with their blockbusters`?
like "I know how to act properly" and the rest of you are just plebeians, who simply pretend as if you could act, but just move your lips and look pretty"?

i mean, not knowing the demographics at MDL, but its safe to think, that no chinese watchers are here to discuss their dramas with "foreigners" like us, i guess, yeah, for some newbies just finding MDL as a forum to discuss c-dramas in English, this might be useful information.

i have read over in another forum, thats these dramas are made for commuters, they are from 1 minute eps to 15 Min (which is already considered LONG) , and because commuters, and in china , they dont have like unlimited data packages contracts for cell phones, shortness is a must.

thats why i wait for the entire drama to be aired, before i dl and go and watch.

if you are annoyed, then leave it, and look for the million other dramas, that have 45 min eps and are completed.

well , so then, if douban is irrelevant to like 95% of the population, then we can safely ignore the score.

no need to mentioned it here, and give it more attention than it really deserves.

and if yes, what influence does it have on "normal" audience and watchers?
like those, who do not engage in strange hate or fan wars?
are chinese citizens really looking up the score there, to then decide if they watch a show or not?

i mean, as a rather normal western citizen, i dont give a fuck, what IMDB says about any of the movies , even if like it says "super marios brothers" (currently in theaters) is like 0,1 score, i would still went to theaters and loving it.

same goes for tv shows or dramas.
getting oscars or BAFTAs or whatever award is not necessarily a sign of quality?
not getting an award is not a sign that a product is bad?

well that give the whole "spend eternity with you" a hole new meaning, and gives it a new level :D
