But in the drama they changed the setting. JY never on purpose told the goon about ZW's return. He was drunk, dead drunk and spilled it.... so he isn't really responsible
At this point, the novel has more depth than the drama. The novel is explicit and very toxic still it has depth…
it is not toxic in the novel either..

Also, i can see why they changed from novel because FL's arc in those 10 years and a lot of it after is STRAIGHT UP scene by scene replica of First Frost... even the scene of where FL in FF is wearing a ballerina dress and ML scoops up as soon as they enter home... SAME SCENE here... overall lot of common scenes...
so drama might have got a backlash if it decided to follow the same path

a plot should be driven by character. A character, so bitterly betrayed, has no complicated feelings or angst in dealing with the person who pushed them into such depression???
but because we will have the crazy dog army of woke gen on internet going rabid, hence production houses sacrifice natural flow of characters in a story
