Yes, despite the change in faces, we did not feel a change in the character. Both the actors who played the young stage and the actors who played the middle-aged stage did an ideal job. We might have wanted to see more of Park Bo Gum 🤭but still everyone did a perfect job❤️

When I started watching I was scared that they wouldn't be able to be together, then I was happy when I found out that they were still together in middle age, then when I remembered the first scene of ep1 I realized that he would die first. Unfortunately this is the reality, after a long life together full of memories for many years, one will die and the other will live a few years alone before he/she dies too. I never thought about it much because most dramas just show us that they will live together and give us the idea that they will always be together but the reality unfortunately is that there will come a time when one of them will have to be alone for a few years.
