about Fah, he came off like the type that wants to get the guy that's uninterested & when they r hooked, then he loses interest. but by the end he suddenly went from cold to hot - so maybe u r right & that was a tactic cause Teh is supposed to be a player, that's only into 1-nightstands (not that u would get that, with how he behaved with Fah = the puppy dog nonsense u mentioned). guess we will see what Fah is up too in the next ep, given the preview of him suddenly close to Jimmy (who he can't stand).🤷♀️
might be the odd one out, but i don't like anyone... which is a 1st - at least at this stage of a drama... i didn't care that Teh supposedly betrayed his Jimmy by f*cking Fah in the previous ep. as Jimmy was far from loyal given his non-stop crossing of boundaries with Teh's brother - even after Teh told him that was a red line - so they were even IMO.
but in this ep everyone just rubbed me the wrong way, the fact Fah's a power-bottom isn't shocking & the way he spoke when he looked at Teh (maybe cause he wasn't salivating after his ass) made it clear, that he was gonna play him. but still it was gross the way he treated Teh afterwards & the fact Teh (the supposed player) acted like a butt-whipped boy, as if Fah was his 1st... the way he kept coming back for more, no matter how Fah spoke to him. made me angry at his lack of pride. but the worst part IMO was the fact that at no point in his conversations with his brother, did he tell him Jimmy lied & was the one interested in Fah, or that Jimmy was STILL trying HARD to get with Fah. that would for sure smack some sense into Toh, stop him from falling for a douche - maybe then he would heed his brothers warning regarding Jimmy.
regarding Toh, been saying this from the start - he is the adult among the 4 - he should know better, even if they not teens, but collage students, as the adult he should think twice about getting involved with his brother's bff, especially after his brother warned him more then once that Jimmy is not to be trusted - so any heartache he sufferers from here on out, is his own fault. there no point even talking about Jimmy cause he is just gross - everything about this character is a turn off, he isn't justified in targeting Toh & he was the one who started the retarded games, when he got close to Toh to get to Fah... so acting like it's Teh's fault, is him being a hypocrite.
the make out session at the end of every ep, doesn't make up for the toxic behavior of the character's, i need to like the character's to want to see them be intimate. will give this another chance to see if this gets better, but i have my doubts...
IMO these shorttime BL's r a hit or a miss - the majority r a miss & the acting for some reason (even with seasoned actors) is bad, so wasn't expecting miracles with newbies.
given the plot, i saw a Thai shorttime BL with the same plot (more or less) & sadly the acting wasn't any better. but i have to say the guessing game where i fill in the blanks & try to figure out the bigger picture, made this a fun watch.
so on a whole; we got Chen GuangLi - the prey who is being abused by his uncle (who i doubt is blood related) & his retarded son (ok not really retarded) they abusing & forcing him to create sculpture's, that r then sold under his cousin's name.
but then, why that same uncle sends him (someone that is bound in their basement, for who know how long) to go steal something from Master Lin idk.. just to further the plot?!? 🤷♀️ but he does & when Master Lin & his goons catch & beat him, he (i am guessing) formulates a plan to use Master Lin to gain his (& his comatose mothers) freedom?!??
in the latest ep guess in-spite of owning a slave, that produces works of art for free - that family lacks money & thinks of buying stocks... as Master Lin has taken the bait (been seduced by Chen GuangLi) he wants to know more about him & his background. so finding out how he is connected to the father & son, he wants to sell them bad stock so they go bankrupt & then offer them an out, in exchange for Chen GuangLi 🤔
also it usually not a go-to, to seduce another man when ur a man unless ur gay (which given almost no background info, one can only guess) it makes u wonder why Chen GuangLi chose that route. but then at the end of ep 3, that order from his "uncle" makes is clear, that he's been abusing Chen GuangLi sexually, not just physically & mentally. 😤
but like i said, this all a guessing game on my part, so who knows if i am right or wrong lol... at least this will make me come back in a week for the next ep 😅🖐

this was beautiful in more ways then one, but that ending was depressing cause even if he got treatment; it might be too late as he could die while going through the operation. it was heartbreaking to me...
Jimmy's a douche (most of the time i just cringe at his flirting, as he comes of sleazy not sexy - how Toh the adult not reacting similarly is mindboggling) so i could care less that he suddenly cried - btw he suddenly so in-love that he's heartbroken? really?? the same dude that's been bed-hopping from the start?? i don't buy it - not fitting the character at all. the fact that Teh kinda double crossed his bff would be a big deal, if that same bff wasn't the same rat that's cozying up to his older brother, just to get at Fah.
so far ironically the only one i like is Teh, Toh is the adult but he's acting like a clueless child skipping in a mind field, he's asking for trouble (as his brother already warned him about Jimmy). Fah is the best looking in the group IMO (idk about personality, as haven't seen enough of him to figure him out) & Jimmy 🤷♀️ is just 😫 there is nothing likeable about this character 🤦♀️
this was ridiculously fun. i genuinely didn't know how i would feel as these short-time BL's r a hit or a miss & as long as u binge watch it, it can be quite ok - if it's good.
this was choppy acting, well both the dialogue & the bad acting made me laugh out loud throughout this BL & not cause this was a comedy. but this was fun & i liked the mains & even the weird ass side character's all going over the top with their dialogue - it all felt like a stage play put on by 1st yr drama student's, that were trying to be overly dramatic & make a memorable immersion in the few sec's of screen time they got.
Zen's robotic personality was weirdly charming & so used to seeing Tiger in bad-guy roles this was a refreshing shift in character's. on a whole even though i shouldn't have, i kinda enjoyed this & laughed my ass off even though the plot itself what whacky world worthy; the grape at the start, they being half siblings & then not, the abuse etc... pretty heavy subjects shoved into this 1 hr BL. but this was fun even if it was bad. for sure a rewatch 😂💖
