idk why 3 eps dropped one after another, but we already at the end & it's kinda frustrating cause as much as i am enjoying myself & loving this, it feels too short & i doubt will feel different when we reach the last ep.
it's like we r skimming the surface & not exploring the depths, that could be.... given the chemistry between the mains & that is disappointing to me. same with the side story, there is so little of them that it's another plot that's underdeveloped & a shame IMO.
& yeah given the shortness of this BL i guess what we got isn't bad - but still after every ep (especially at this stage) i feel like this is more of a 'miss then a hit' - which is such a shame & waste of the talent 🤷‍♀️

what the hell did i just watch.. but great acting, Tontae freakin broke my heart & i didn't think i would be crying my eyes out in the last ep - not considering the amount of eye rolling i've been doing watching this BL.
but cute all in all & still say that this would've been a much better romance between Tontae & Nan Krai - maybe if the plot was changed into a romcom with a tourist falling for a local, it would work with the Taiwanese twin. but as is, the main romance fell flat IMO & only the tragedy & Tontae acting gave any gravitas to the mains romance (in the last ep - throughout it was mainly cringe).

the subs 🤷‍♀️ omg... but the subs 🤦‍♀️& sadly idk when this gets completed if they will be fixed, ever....

from the start been saying that it's genetics, as both brothers be like dumb & dumber 🤦‍♀️idk how Fah still around. we didn't need to see his test result, to know he's the smart one in that group (in this BL).
he too should save himself the headache & book a seat next to the dentist 😂now that's a 'happily ever after' i could root for 😁

agree, the sec the dentist came into the picture i face palmed cause he doesn't need the headache, let alone to be used just to be tossed aside, when Toh decides he misses getting his bollocks stepped on 🤦‍♀️

how ironic, i started this detesting Jimmy (& it's not that i love him now, but i don't actively hate him) not with Toh & Teh topping that list, like WTF... the way Teh is acting, i genuinely believe he "wants" Jimmy, dude is constantly thinking about & following him around, like a lost puppy. heck he cares more for him, then his own brother - he might say he cares for them equally - sorry family comes 1st & from where i am sitting Jimmy wasn't a good friend ever - period.
& Fah (the ultimate power bottom) is the only sane/smart one in this BL 🤦‍♀️if i was him, i would've dropped Teh the sec i realized he was trying to setup his brother back with Jimmy. cause that tells me there's something not right with Teh's thought process & i donno if i would want to be in a relationship with someone that f*cked in the head, sorry not sorry, his priorities r messed up.

really like the Dentist & knew he is gonna get unnecessarily used & then tossed aside - meeh very cliché. heck maybe Fah can be with him. cause the more i watch this, the more immature Toh seems & now it's logical why he fell for an immature moron like Jimmy in the 1st place.
if Toh was mature, he would've been candid with the Dentist (when he asked him the 2nd time to be his bf) told him that he was getting over a recent break-up & needed time, instead of playing coy -that's just annoying !
but we 2 eps from the end & "we" need to drag this out, so we get the "happily ever after" in the last ep. personally i don't feel there was enough time to see a growth in any character, for anyone to buy the sudden 180 with Jimmy, let alone Toh who was a doormat from the start, how/why he suddenly grow a backbone?? oh well, i just hope they don't harm the cat - like a "boy who cried wolf" scenario playing out to get Tph back with Jimmy - leave the cat of this mess thank U😅🖐

just rewatched, after idk how long & this time, didn't find this oddly disjointed (something that was explained away as a censorship issue, where after getting edited it was reedited cause it was still too "gay", in their eyes or some such..) enjoyed this watch - was this perfect - nope. was it fun - yes! & the BL was more hinted at... vaguely. but given the country & the time this was made - it's understandable.

this was fun & liked a lot of the character's, just wish the plot was fleshed out & we didn't (by the end) get left with so many plots, left open. would've loved some kind of closures - for one of the couples. of course one can look at it as an open end, where everyone found their own way to coexist with the person they cared-for... still feels to vague & unfinished IMO.

also i get that this an adaptation, but i didn't like the fact that the sister (spoilt as she was) was used the way she was. give the fact her brother loved her so much, duping her until the end & not having that whole plot go a more mature, less toxic way - would've been much appreciated. but by the end (ironically) it felt like it was cut off like Addicted - just in this case the censorship didn't stop the production & release of the rest of the eps. maybe it was just edited out & that's why it feels like there should be more.. more that will never come. maybe will all the remakes this will also get one, & it will be an actual BL. one can hope -

anyway rewatching this my rating for sure went up cause i actually enjoyed this, even if it wasn't perfect - it was fun!

the acting was bad, the sound track was whack & the audio was weird, but ironically i was entertained, as the bad acting was comical & the broad idea for the plot wasn't that bad - the main plus being it's length, as it was short & sweet.. so nothing dragged on too long so even if it wasn't good, everything was over in a blink.
on a whole this was cute but nothing to write home about 😅✌

just rewatched & this time cause i fast-forwarded a ton of the side plots, i could finish this (unlike the 1st time i tired - where i dropped it around ep 30).
the remake includes a lot of the plot from both seasons, so needed to rewatch both to see what was added, changed or taken out.
i think giving the Jeed character minimum air time, was for the best. also i never understood why people wanted to pair Earn & Pete (who were never more then bff's) trying to make them more is just b.s. writing IMO & amounted to nothing in the remake too, at least here they were back to being bff's.
& really appreciate that Aim got a remake & unlike this version (where she hit rock bottom) & got taken out, just so the mains could be together. there she wasn't used as a plot device but as a character worthy of a story of her own.

also know everyone really loves to hate of Yuri, who is very immature & clingy, but she is very sweet & bighearted, even though she was delusional & misguided is her persistent pursuit of Noh, she paid a heavy price & Noh really did her dirty. & she deserved better which in this there is a hint of hope with Pete being interested in her. in the remake she just fades into the background meeh -
btw Noh also did Earn dirty - Noh the type of guy that doesn't want to hurt anyone, so goes along to get along & ends up hurting everyone.

so rewatching both seasons, seeing how bad the acting was & the mess of having so many plotlines that kind fizzed into nothing, shows how the remake is well thought out & even though a ton of the actors there sooo bleedin young, their acting is impressive in comparison. also like that a lot of the plot were axed. but like in this BL i wonder if the amount of young talent was wasted cause a lot of the actors here didn't go on to work after this drama - which makes u wonder...

anyway this was a fun

this too short as is so idk why we getting flashbacks that add nothing to the plot, we got that Yang Meng had a crush on Yushi & Yushi never noticed him. this was covered in the previous ep. why use filler to waste precious time???

but cute ep, Yushi is such a tease & that kiss was hot - unexpected too, so soon into the BL, let alone after the cold shoulder Yang Meng been giving Yushi. so guess the kiss is down to the alcohol - but was that Yang Meng's imagination & the reason he stopped the kiss, cause he was worried his fantasy would come true?!?
well what we didn't get with the mains, the 2nd couple delivered - but have to say the island boy (can't remember his name for the life of me) is so weird - hard for me to read him. he hinted that he & the blonde haired dude had a past, but nothing was mentioned after that, we didn't even get the blonde haired dude trying to recall from where... well it looks like the blonde haired dude not looking for anything but a good time, that & Yushi - but Yushi not interested.

again given the length of the eps & the BL, wish this just focused on the mains - now we got some drama with the father & we have to deal with the witch that defamed Yushi... 7 more eps to go & that can either be more then enough to cover everything & give us a satisfying BL & ending or.... 🤷‍♀️

i might be asking for a spoiler (as haven't started this yet), but would someone PLZ spoil me - does the FL - Sarah Kim die at the start of the drama & the rest of the ep's r basically everyone solving her murder? would appreciate a heads-up thank 😊🙏

i saw the 2024 adaptation recently so thought to revisit the OG version, that i watched ages ago. ironic how i misremembered some character's & parts of the plot, while others i totally blocked out.

for the life of me i didn't recall the whole Taengmo / Mo, Moan, Golf side story - that was such a messy, toxic hell.. so i should've remembered it. but other then the mains & their "gf's", i didn't really remember anyone. well who could forget Jeed or poor Khom (who deserved better), but she was the mains bad-guy in this BL IMO & that's ironic considering some of the mean girls in her group.

also i was too harsh with my criticism of both Punn & Aim, idk why in my head i remembered wrong that Punn was a douche that basically wanted to eat his cake & kept it whole. he didn't lie or gaslight Noh into anything, if anything Noh knew what he was doing & in-spite of it being a bad idea, jumped headlong over the "cliff" & offered his hand to Punn who willingly followed. so neither was guiltier then the other.
on Aim's part, she wasn't some femme fatal, yeah she had a very needy side that needed constant affirmation that she was loved & cherished by Punn. she was selfish, but a lot of teens tend to be. that didn't make her the b*tch in my memories.

the whole Earn angel came to not - there wasn't enough of him interacting with Noh for it to mount to anything (not in the 1st season anyway & i really can't see myself watching all 33eps of the 2nd seasons to see if that developed similarly to the 2024 adaption). same with Earn & Pete, there was almost nothing to notice between them.

this was a cute teen BL & given how short the last ep was, they already planned the 2nd season, which given it's length & the fact the 1st time around i dropped... (& as i already said i aint gonna revisit). so will say that as much as i liked this, i enjoyed the changes done to the plot & character's in the 2024 version more.

this ep was adorable & i loved the date - by the end Kishi "saw" Toru & not as the student he tutor's, but as something more... was starting to wondering in the previous ep, if the tags were wrong - cause in spite of Toru crushing on Kishi, this doesn't give me BL vibes - everything felt very innocent & platonic. but was & am having fun so i didn't mind it.
just wish the subs were better, so i would be sure that the conclusions i come too r accurate & not a figment of my imagination.

btw that briefcase Kishi carries around, is it like the one Newt from Fantastic Beasts carried around?!? where the frack he keeps pulling out the tea set, let alone the water & the other accessories lol🤣😂 so weird 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

"...go marry that cat..." made me laugh way harder then it should've... doubt that poor cat wants Jimmy, am sure it got more sense then Toh.

but given this ep, am starting to wonder if Teh is subconsciously in-love with Jimmy, cause if anyone did quarter of the sh*t Jimmy did to Toh, to a sibling of mine i would be out for blood.
1 - i wouldn't still be friends with them & Teh has never given Jimmy the cold shoulder, let alone ignored him. & his love of holding onto his collar from time to time, amount to a big fat nothing, as he never hits him.
2 - i wouldn't be stalking or saving them & Teh is constantly observing Jimmy. more focused on him & in this ep he took if personally, when that guy asked if Jimmy was single.
3 - & i for sure wouldn't be breaking my back carting his drunk ass around town to then dump on my sofa.
Teh's behavior makes no sense.. but a while back i did say that both sibling r similar in that they love red flags 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

everyone in this BL is a different level of f*cked-up, Fah comes off as a red flag too. but compared to Jimmy - guess he turns green in some peoples eyes lol 😅🖐

this was rage bait, until i decided that there wasn't a character here that was worth the energy it took my blood to get to boiling point & since i came to this conclusion, i aint just calm (no matter what i see) but am finding this ridiculously funny. in this ep Jimmy turned into a freakin joker - i laughed so much cause of him.

but the one that is baffling to me; Teh - he in-love with Jimmy?!? he got a bigger hard-on for the dude, then his brother. until now i never got his mediocre out rage - oh yeah, he loveeeeessss manhandling Jimmy, but he never really causes any damage & for someone that was his bff, one he warned off his brother. that same good-friend goes behind his back, not just to woo his brother - NO(!) he uses him like a bargaining chip - like a hostage he will use & abuse if Teh doesn't keep his distance from Fah.
what we get in this ep??? Teh saving Jimmy & brining him back home, even trying to soften Toh - by saying he was wasted - i.e suffering - what!???
idk which sibling acts this way - even siblings that r at each others throats on the daily, the sec an outsider hurts one of them (in any way), they turn into loyal attack dogs that r ready to rip that persons jugular out, with their teeth if need be. here Teh is more worried about Jimmy??? make it make sense??
why, cause Jimmy's a good guy cause he drank a bit & is acting weepy?!? this means he did his penance & is worthy of getting back with Toh?!?? WTF 🤷‍♀️ don't get his thought process...

side note: i pity the dentist, cause sorry not sorry Toh is a headcase & he the type of person that sees a red flag & runs towards it. while a green flag might just be used as a minor distraction, until the next red flag come along. so for his own mental healthy, i hope Toh tells him "i aint ready" & leaves him alone.

glad i aint the only one that struggled to get to the end, cause i kinda had enough of not only watching Bing play the victim (when he had stopped being one, a while back) but watching both Max & Fuji take all the blame.

sadly they both came back for him in the last ep, so if there is a 2nd ep, idk if i want to watch another 60 plus mins of everyone running after Bing's ass, while he throws himself a pity party 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️
