in Zhan Xu's case i don't get him doing so much for a random student - why?!? cause he is attracted to him? cause Bian Ye reminds him of Zhan Wang & he feels like he couldn't be there for his younger sibling, so he is making up by helping a stranger? either way he's a doctor that's also a dentist(?) & conveniently he got a dentist's office at home? but not enough money to pay the electricity bill? & idk what that medieval looking device was, but from what i know about devices that were used before electricity came into the picture, it was freakin painful & not sexy or arousing in the least - unless Bian Ye is into S & M, anyway that scene was plain weird IMO
i don't get either brother - what they both dreamed about being "sugar dadies"!?? like WTF, even though kinda get where Zhan Wang is coming from, given his health he rather focus on Xu Yuan who hasn't lived an easy life & it's something he can fix or do before he "kick's the bucket" so i get him trying to make Xu Yuan's life a bit better. as Xu Yuan also has his grandmother's approval & they did take care of her when he couldn't. so i get that, but the older brother is just plain weird. 🤦♀️

just finished binging all 3 ep's, the ironic part about Zhan Wang standing up for & getting closer too Xu Yuan, is the fact that he has terminal brain cancer, which means sooner or later he is not just gonna get very sick, but he might end up dying & then what will everyone including Xu Yuan think? that he was the reason for Zhan Wang dying - how sad would that be??? especially for Xu Yuan??? not just losing someone he will come to love, but also believing that he was the cause.... that's kinda soul crushing😭 so i really hope this has a happy ending & we get a miracle 🤦♀️
