poor Wu Suo Wei, i laughed too much at his expense in this ep, his 1st time & Chi Cheng finally got a hold of him & wouldn't get off... quite literally LOL. poor baby couldn't walk straight OMG but i love this character & the actor - *****************************& sorry not sorry Xiao Shuai got forgiven too quick in my books, Wu Suo Wei is wrong he would've have behaved the same in his "masters" place, cause he didn't - when a few ep's back Guo threatened going to Chi Cheng telling him about Wu Suo Wei & YueYue being ex's, let alone all the planning done with Xiao Shuai, Guo offered Wu Suo Wei that he would keep quite as long as he helped him with Xiao Shuai. & what did Wu Suo Wei do, he was ready to give up on his revenge, just not sell out his "master". so no they NOT the same. ************************************************************************************************************& another unpopular thought, but Xiao Shuai (who is unworthy of a friend like Wu Suo Wei) is also unworthy of a future bf like Guo. especially when u seen that even under the influence of an aphrodisiac, the sec Guo realized that Xiao Shuai was thinking of his ex, who had hurt him - he stopped! not wanting to add to his trauma. ********************************************************btw this the 2nd time Wu Suo Wei found the courage to confess all to Chi Cheng & Chi Cheng stopped him from speaking. aish i am now very worried when this secret will come out & will it be when Chi Cheng's famous ex is back in the picture...ugh

am glad we saw all the co-workers happy at the end.. now that Hiro has resigned (finally) they wont have much to smile about. but at least Kai's ultimatum made Hiro realize what is important in life. this was short but also bitter sweet. *********************there was so much meat that the romance felt more like a side story. not complaining - it was still very good & well acted. will add this to my rewatch list.

if not for himself at least Hiro stood-up for his subordinate. wish he would stop bowing & just quit. i get it's easier said then done & it's not easy to find a new job etc... but living as he does isn't really living - it more hell. ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Kai is just breaking my heart i don't get the old man, like i get that he has only one son who is now going to support him & as he is old & sick he needs to lean on family. but Kai was his only family for how long? yeah he also gave to Kai but idk it feels like Kai is being abandoned all over again

if Kaneko was a true friend or even just a good person as Hiro's senior he wouldn't waited so long to tell Hiro how he was being manipulated & gaslit at the company. now even after being told it will take a while until he starts to realize how true Kaneko's words & warning were. & now that he is leaving everything is gonna get dumped on Hiro's head & he wont leave that office with the amount of work that is gonna get dumped on his shoulders. idk if by the end of this he will grow a backbone & stand up for himself let alone be worthy of Kai & all that he is giving him. time will tell

my heart broke for Kai in this ep, i don't get the old man going along with his son despicable behavior -poor Kai, i cried for him. that's why was even more annoyed at Hiro's inability to speak up, let alone his constantly belittling himself, saying he is slow so it's logical that, that supervisor keeps dumping additional work the sec he has to get off work. like where is the logic there? & ironically he always only comes to Hiro - cause he knows, he will get all his work done in the minimum of time. the irony & the stupidity is infuriating.

the one that pissed me off in this ep was Hiro, like u know u be somewhere & u gotta leave on time, u don't freakin sit around saying goodbye to everyone in the office & u for sure don't sit around sending texts & taking ur bleedin time leaving said office. u finish, u say bye & ur out of there. that supervisor is a c*nt & his job is to take advantage of his subordinate's, while acting like they r not doing their job & slaking off. **********************************************************************************************it is Hiro's job to stand-up for himself & not get taken advantage off. he keeps getting walked on & he keeps taking it - little wonder he hates his work-place. but quitting & find a new job wont make a lick of difference, cause he will be the same as always - showing his higher-ups that he is a doormat ready & willing to be stepped on.************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************idk what the old mans son meant when he told Kai to stay away. as is he was so young when he started working for that old man - who i am sure (even if he didn't show it) in his heart saw Kai as a son. is that why his biological son is trying to keep him away he is afraid for his inheritance? either way dick move

cute 1st ep. must say kinda weird that someone is passed-out on the street & people just walking by, not even looking let alone stopping to make sure he is ok & the only reason Kai stopped, was cause he knew Hiro... so weird - *******************************but on a whole, i feel bad for Hiro & people like Hiro that hate their jobs but have no other option & have to sufferer everyday. i thought he was being over worked, but he didn't want to sleep cause he hated getting up the next day - to work in a place that was draining the life out of him. would say he should quit, but most jobs r like this - it's rare when a human finds a job where they love it so much it isn't like working & they look forward to going day after day... **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Kia is weird & not talking about his stoic personality - given everything he has lived through, i kinda get it. but his suggesting, let alone more or less forcing a hand-job on Hiro, was like WTF weird moment.

Gao Tu is still my favorite character, but i am sorry to say he is a moron, only a masochist would fall for a douche like Shen Wen Lang. i am tired hearing him rant on & on about how he hates omegas, he treats Gao Tu like a servant or slave & the dude (cause he is infatuated) happily accept that treatment or rather mistreatment. so much so he is endangering his life, just to be near the person that is treating him like something stuck on his shoe - on the daily. *********************************************************know others r all hyped about the 2nd couple (i.e Gao Tu & Shen Wen Lang) not me. i think Gao Tu needs a wake-up call & a better love interest. ******************************************************************************************************************heck he couldn't even tell that "father" of his, to f*ck-off - the dude for sure isn't paying for his daughter's bills, but he is rants about the cost & still Gao Tu is ready to give him money. i wouldn't give him a dime! Gao Tu is frustrating me i wanna shake some sense into him. *********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************the main couple - or whatever u can call them. i feel sad for Sheng Shao You, other then his secretary he is surrounded by people that r trying to use & manipulate him. ironically Hua Yong (a new comer) is heading off that list. that flash back to their childhood was that, that significant that Hua Yong now will do everything to have Sheng Shao You??? even if that means playing him?!?? idk about the romance so far, as it's just toxic - not that i aint intrigued as to what's what - regarding Hua Yong's grand plan & how Shen Wen Lang is involved, will have to wait & see

last 10 mins was the mains making out - which not complaining, but as it was left kinda opened ended, am wonder WTH & couldn't we get more.. but i guess that's the problem with short drama's, u r always left wanting. am glad the mains decided to remain together & Lu Xiao who wanted to push Liu Zai Rong into his fiancée's waiting arms (so he would be safe). he came back when she told him that Liu Zai Rong would rather die being with him, then live & be with her. not exactly a happily ever after as we don't know until when the love birds will be left alone... but on a whole good acting & an interesting plot (even if with a ton of wholes) but it is what it is... ********************************************************************************************************would say i hope there is a 2nd season or a longer remake - but i doubt that's gonna happen - bummer. but for sure a rewatch!

i feel sorry for Liu Zai Rong, cause his arranged marriage isn't just to grow the wealth of the family, but to secure his position - otherwise his life is literally in danger. & yet he doesn't want such a huge decision dictated to him. who would want that. *******but i don't blame Qinghuan either, they have basically been attached at the hip since they were children & lovers from the age of 17. u don't just disregard those feelings cause it was decided by the family elders. **********************************************if they were forced to be together as children, they were both in the same boat & didn't blame each other (logically), & as Qinghuan has grown to love Liu Zai Rong, following her the families decision isn't such a chore. if anything now it is something she wants cause she loves & cares for him.***********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************idk what Liu Zai Rong should do & now that he has developed feelings for Lu Xiao, who is as clueless as i as to what is the right choice & what Liu Zai Rong should do. i am left confused as to how i want the last ep to go.

glad Hayakawa finally found his grove... but the problem with someone like him - he latches onto one person & his whole being goes into leaning on/revolving around them, to do what he wants & loves. Konno told him he needs to stop worrying about about other people's likes & dislikes, just follow his own heart. *********************************************************************Hayakawa instead of understanding those words & following his heart, is now looking at Konno as if his words & opinions r the rules he is guided by. this type of dependency would sooner or later break Hayakawa again. not a healthy way of living.

Hayakawa's parents r very supportive & loving but they didn't teach him to not care about other opinions. which is a shame - if anything his mother giving him that recorder, telling him that someone in this world would love his "bad habit's" makes it out to be his fault. when the fact he loves music isn't a bad trait. heck any Asian mother (or mother in general) if their child displayed such talent in music would be dragging that child to every teacher & school, to find out if he is a prodigy. *************************here Hayakawa's parents wanted him to be a child which is great but they should also have made it clear that the fact he is different isn't something to be ashamed off, maybe then he would've been able to stand-up to Yamashita's gaslighting. & not lash out at the 1sy sincere person - Konno. **********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************Konno on his part is too good to be true, after almost getting assaulted by Hayakawa he still went out of his way to find out what his past trauma was & why he was acting this erratic. he was way to forgiving & understanding but it is what it is... the fact Hayakawa has fallen for him is kinda understandable, but i don't see Konno being aware of Hayakawa in a romantic way, he treats him more like a little brother.

so confused about Hayakawa's behavior towards Konno, it's more like he really dislikes him & is just humoring him, then there r glimpse's where u can see that Hayakawa is attracted to him. idk what happened to that childhood friend (he started a band with), but as that was his only childhood friend, my heart breaks for the child that was bullied & all alone - who became this loner, anti-social adult that is acting like an extrovert. the work it must take, to put up the front, makes me sad. *****************& then we get that kiss & weird offer which Konno didn't deserve, he has don't nothing to justify Hayakawa lashing out or gaslighting him.
