so Joe woke-up just to die? or rather murder his wife (WTF, why?!?) & then get double crossed by Aim (who wasn't dead???) the double crosses, backstabbing, lying etc.. made my head spin. & yet i wasn't riveted to my seat. the only reason the café owner gave Sun a 2nd chance & recruited him to the organization, was cause he knew Sun & his sisters. basically he felt sorry for him, cause as it was made clear when they spoke. Sun didn't have any info to give him, that the "Uncle" didn't already have & he wasn't anymore special that anyone else in his gang. so that basically leaves the fact that the Uncle knew him & had gotten to like him & his sisters. *****************************************************************************************************************btw the "teacher" on Joe's side, readily believed Ji Hun?!? when he knew he had already tried to backstab Joe??? why take his word this time around??? but there a ton of 'why' - like why Song Min never go to his mother?!... oh well it is what it is, as this the end & idk when the next season will air. not that i will be holding my breath. this was amateur hr throughout, yeah there were cute moments cause of Tim, Tien & Kawin but they couldn't carry this BL. neither could the mains - so idk what to say. this was cute & a 1 off. ********************************************************************************************************************side note: the actor that played Song Min looked really familiar but i donno what i've seen him in before & as the bio over here doesn't have any additional info, guess will keep wondering...

the 1st scene where i was impressed by the acting, was when Sun found out that Song Min & his father were behind his father's death. that confrontation; Mei trying to stop her brother - was good, very good in comparison to what we have gotten until now from all involved - specifically Sun & Song Min. the rest was the usual sh*t show - sorry not sorry it is what it is. Sun gave Song Min a tracker so he could keep tabs on him if he got kidnapped again, but nobody thought to check his car?!? or even the motorbike??? *****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************& don't get why Ji Hun would offer Snap a offer to work in their outfit, when the lobbyist seem to be more powerful. unless he doesn't knw that Snap is a plant & really belongs to the lobbyist group. but have to say, as much as i dislike Ji Hun, dude is an evil genius. he got Joe's brains that's for sure, well even though they not blood-related he a carbon copy of Joe. & if anything i think Joe was be proud of him, if he wasn't trying to rob Joe of his "throne". ironically Jun Ho turned out to be the most loyal, he really loves Joe & sees him as his father & he was the one treated the worse. the irony doesn't escape me - sadly he will never get the recognition or love he is seeking, guess he knows this & that's why he put the gun un Joe's hand saying he would rather die by his hands for what he has done. even though i don't see what he has done. the fact Ji Hun has clued him in after the fact doesn't make him an accomplice. as i am 110% sure that if Joe was conscious he would inform him of everything the sec he found out. so i didn't get what part. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: we almost at the end & i don't buy the romance. the fact they have no reservations in kissing doesn't a romance make. the acting here is really taking me out... it's like a student play - all amateur's, that's really hard to take serious. again the highlight was the GL. they for sure didn't waste anytime, but at least it felt organic & added a little sweetness to this ep. cause have to say the mains interaction is buddies at most, i don't get the lover or the BF vibe from them. ******************************& really would love if Song Min would stop going around with the injured look - dude weeping at the drop of a hat. he keeps saying 'sorry' a sec after Sun leaves & yet he hasn't found a way to warn Sun that his father isn't to be trusted. in the previous ep he was planning to run back to Korea, yet he is still in Thailand & isn't actively doing anything to get away from his father or inform Sun. so what is the point of us seeing him cry all the time & act like he is walking around with an open wound? cause i don't see any pity for him. if anything he is kinda annoying me. *************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************personally if i was Sun & i didn't want the life my father lead, especially now that i avenged him - why open a gym in the same place? why not move to another town/ city. i think i would do that for my sister - want that more then her going back to school given what she went through. & his gang could come with (even though am 100% sure Snap or however he is called, is a rat that is there just to collect info & forward it to the lobbyist). but there a lot that doesn't make logic in this BL. like Jack dreaming of walking in his fathers foot steps & yet he just got one henchman?!? he was asking to get his ass handed to him.

Mei is such a sweet girl around anyone but her only family - her brother, Sun. there is a part of me that just wants to shake her, her choices landed her in hell & she knows her brother didn't fair any better. he was in a hell of his own. at least what she did was her choice (to run away from home) the fact it turned out bad was bad luck, fate or a stupid choice in an untrustworthy person. not the case with Sun, yeah he drew a knife, but he didn't tell Kong to get in between, but he paid the price for that death - he was framed & then had to spend 3 yrs fighting to save his ass - quite literally. *******************************************& yet in the midst of everything the 1st thing he did when he got out, was to look for her & take her out of that hell hole - & he has been taking care of her from that moment (whos paying her hospital bills?!?) he comes to check up on her & everything with a smile, love & understanding. but she is with that constant petulant attitude & it's kinda getting tiresome to keep giving her the benefit of the doubt. she's not a child any more & needs to stop taking Sun love & care for granted. ********************** ****************************************************************************************************************************************regarding Song Min& his father, he is his father's only son & then of course he is gonna inherit whatever his father builds. given this commonsensical fact idk why Jun Ho or Ji Hun think there is any chance for them - they r dogs Joe has raised nothing more nothing less, for now they r useful but sooner or later he might decide they need to go & he wont think twice before ordering their deaths like he is doing with Sun & Jack. he wants to build an empire in Thailand where ever other gang is under him & he can only trust the Koreans (cause they his people) that's why he has so many of them in this gang. well this was a freakin depressing ep & it just flashed by. idk who i feel sadder for Kataoka, who was turned into an orphan cause his father sacrificed himself for Kirii Seizo & then no matter what he did for his boss & his family, he got backstabbed cause the son of Kirii Seizo is a b*tch ass cry baby, that was jealous Kataoka out shinned him. or Odajima who always ended up losing the people he loved - freakin depressing **************************************************************************************& it's not that i was deluded into thinking they might get a happily ever after - the vibe here wasn't deluding in the least - & yet cause of what they found together, i hoped - that maybe they would find a way to develop their feelings & have some kind of future. but given the preview to the last ep - it's just doom & gloom ugh... hope it is a mislead.

this wasn't much better then the 1st ep, yeah there were interesting bits, but on a whole this was meeh - i could care less about the mobsters & what they were doing. given all the hype for this BL, i must say i was a bit apathetic throughout this ep - yeah the end was kinda brutal, but it wasn't the fight as i wasn't riveted by the fight scene or the basketball game, or much of the rest. also given that violence not really my cup of tea, i hope there's not a lot of fight scenes - an absurd wish given the genre of this BL, but one can hope lol... but the ending where poor Sun didn't just lose his father, but also his 1st love on his birthday, is one hell of a birthday present. *************************************************************************************************************************************************also the irony that Sun is gonna end up falling for a guy that was a co-conspirator to his father's murder / ordered hit, but also that same guy's brother was the one to end his 1st loves life. one hell of a hurdle to get over - ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************************also if Sun's father was a mobster (& not just a Gym owner, as i assumed for whatever reason) then why he only have 2 subordinate's?!? that's weird.... idk *******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************side note: i get that we have 2 Korean actors so we needed everyone to incorporate the language barrier somehow, that it would tie into the plot & make sense. but the fact the father was communicating in English with his son is moronic. same with the older brother hanging with guys that speak fluent Thai, while he doesn't - this bothered me & really took me out of the plot as i was busy cringing or rolling my eyes. i really hope this gets good soon, otherwise i might end up dropping it cause i don't want to be semi bored for another 40 plus mins...

hmmmmm what to say.... had a feeling this would be left open (well there was a part of me, that was worried it would go down the depressing route) so an open ending is more then welcome & yeah by the end Ko Yeong was loveless, but not all alone. as he was surrounded by his bff's which have been the one consistent thing in his life, they r rid & die - he should be thankful for them, cause there people out here that don't even have that. ***********************************************************************this whole ep, the more Ko Yeong smiled & laughed the sadder i got, especially when he was in Thailand with William, who ironically was another lost soul - but this was also very beautiful in the rawness of depicting relationship's, love & how fickle human emotion's can be. *************************************************************************************************************Ko Yeong saying he wrote "love" as a wish on the Chinese lanterns, when he actually wrote Gyu Ho's name - reaffirmed my conclusion that he was the love of Ko Yeong's life. sad that he didn't realize what he had when he had him... donno if he will get a 2nd chance, or if he will find someone new. but the one thing that bothered me is the fact that he never told his friends about "Kylie" - i know he had reservations cause of the stigma & how they would react. but idk, that bit is the only thing that i would've liked to see dealt with. as they r his only living family - but it is what it is . this was so good & yet very sad. bottom line very realistic & well acted.
