8.1 sounds about right. There are some sweet scenes but overall it's forgettable. It started out alright and it peaked when the Achi and Karan got together but it just lags now. The issue is the stakes are so low that it is not that exciting to watch. The "conflict" of being apart for 30 days is just ridiculous. I *might* have brought how much they miss each other if there were some passion or more chemistry between the two. Tay and New seem more like brothers than lovers. The mind reading plot is kind of a waste as well. I rather Achi not know Karan's feeling all these time and instead show how Karan slowly win him over.

On Death's Game Part 2 Jan 10, 2024
I may be giving the writers too much credit but I don't think it is saying that all people that commits suicide should be punished. The drama only focused on Yi Jae and I need to preface this by saying I am not expert on depression/mental health/suicidal thoughts - but what he "suffered" didn't seem that severe. He dumped Ji-Soo because of his own insecurity. He feels depressed mainly because he couldn't find a job, lost his money and felt like he was falling behind in his life. But I didn't feel it was THAT severe based on what we saw for just 15 minutes in the beginning. I feel like he just basically stopped trying and think suicide is the way out to not deal with his life. This was the flippant attitude that Death was referring to which was why he was punished. In his speech before he met Death at the end, he even said that he was a coward. He wasn't driven to suicide. He could have faced his issues but CHOSE to run from it instead.

So good and unpredictable! Shame this is on Prime. I barely see any promotion. It would be so much more popular if it was on Netflix.

I like it but it did move a little bit fast. I haven't watch the Japanes version but I wish there were some flashback showing why Karan likes Achi other than he is cute. When did he starts liking him? Did they interact a lot during the 7 years? It seems weird that Karan being so confident wouldn't have make a move already before. Maybe I am judging the character too early as episode 1 is mainly from Achi's POV.

Congrats to the winner, so deserved!! And man, these games are soooo tough but it's so entertaining to watch. I love games that involves so much thinking and strategizing. Can someone recommend other reality show like this?

I am kind of disappointed that half of the cast is basically useless (or as one player said - "Moocher"). I thought they would all be top-tier and was hoping to see some real battle of the wits. Instead, most of them are either passive or followers or just all talk and no substance.

I am glad at least the person I want to win and deservedly so is still in the game (the plan reveal at the end of episode 9 is amazing!).

JYB's acting is amazing in the last two episodes. Seeing her play the "real" Min-Ju again after we've been watchig Jun-Hee in Min-Ju's body for most of the series - I was totally convinced they are not the same character. JYB did such a great job pretending to be Jun-Hee as well. I hope she gets some award recognition. I think AHS also did great and his chemistry with JYB really grew in the last half when we started to see their relationship "started" from college.

I loved the original and I enjoyed the remake. It didn't really add anything new to it or put its own spin on the plot so some may be disappointed because ATCY is like 90% the same (many of the scenes are exactly the same). The time-travelling storyline is still intriguing and the acting is strong so I still like ATCY. If you haven't watched the original, then I think you would enjoy it more.

I just finish episode 6 and this remake is not bad at all! JYB is great playing both roles (if you think she looks too old as student, well, Alice Ke is the same in the original (they are both in mid 30s) - it's their acting that shines through). I don't know what everyone is complaining about AHS but he is fine so far. He does the social, carefree, popular guy well but we'll see how he does in the second half when his character becomes more prominent.

Overall, it's not as strong as the Taiwanese version (especially the music which is not that memorable and the 1998 setting also doesn't look much different from the present). But all the acting is on point and they kept most of the same storyline which in itself is an intriguing mystery so it's definitely worth a watch.

All I can say is if you are going to compare every little thing to the Taiwanese version, then you shouldn't bother with this version. It's also hilarious so many hates this remake but the rating is going up everyday.

I hope in the next His Man season, rather than really long conversations, they put more games in. Would make it…
They were a little long but I didn't really mind because the situation really calls for it. If the show didn't make MS talked with Hjoon I don't think he would ever realize the part he played in creating this messy love triangle. SW/SH talk also brought the much needed closure between them.

I don't mind games but how about some personality test games, like how much do they know about each other? 8 days are really too short so I prefer games that tell you more about each man (like the JENGA one). I also wish they START with some group activities first instead of a date right away based on first impression so they can observe each other before making a choice.

What breaks my heart about the love triangle is that HJoon doesn't notice MS constantly peering at him. HJoon…
I think I am in the minority but I am so much more interested with MS/HJoon/Hjin than JS/SH. JS/SH are cute and everything but the angst and drama in the MS love triangle is so real. I love the conversation Hjoon has with both MS and Hjin. He was straight forward with both of them and MS finally realized the role he plays in this mess. MS has been nonchalent this whole time and giving mix signals to both of them. I'm glad that HJoon said he has to protect himself now and "he can't wait forever".

The show really hit the jackpot with this cast. I love the different personalities and the bonds they shared (even if some of them are just platonic). Even with JW who is sadly the "odd man out" that no one is interested in, we still see how kind and thoughtful he is and that the other men still supports him.

I don't know what happens behind the cameras, but I can only say that MS's love triangle is very different from…
This is easier said than done. How do you tell someone that he is making you uncomfortable in a nice way? "I feel uncomfortable when you are flirting/fighting over me when the other one is in the room, so don't do it?" LOL. This situation is especially messy since he has feelings for both of them. If it comes out wrong (like when HJin confronted CW), Hjin/Hjoon may get the wrong message like thinking that MS is mad at them, prefer the other one more, etc.

On His Man Season 2 Jul 17, 2023
Seon Woo is too insecure. He constantly needs validation from others. He said he wants to want to have a date with everyone but he is not putting any effort. When YH ask him if he has any questions for him, he just deflects it and tells YH to ask him more questions instead. He clearly has no interest in YH but strings him along to make himself feel wanted.

I am rooting for MS and HJ. The nap before the date was cute. They seem like a good match - simple and rustic!

Poor CW. The saddest part is that he feels he lost a friend. I think he knows that he doesn't have a strong love connection with anyone in the house. He was just grateful for the boost of confidence that HJ gave him during their date. He didn't see it as a romantic gesture. It must have hurt a lot to hear that HJ wouldn't have gone on the date if he didn't have to.

BTW, how many days do they have left in the house?

Gosh if it is after the voice message and SH ended up leaving a message for SW, I feel horrible for SH ☹️…
It has to be after the voice message. Both SW and JS had on the same outfit as the BBQ when they made the voice message and they were wearing something different at the dining table so it won't make sense that they changed back the outfit for the voice message (and JS was wearing pajamas so it's probably before they were heading to bed).

And of course the BBQ stuff in the kitchen when they were talking like you said. I spotted that box right on the floor right away which is the one that Yong Hee was bringing into the house when they came back from the shopping earlier.
