Why'd ML want to kill FL and her contingent in ep 5?
He was afraid that FL and her contingent would reveal the truth to officials about him hiding in there with the baby (his cousin who's the son of his dead uncle). He was trying to protect the baby as the baby is the last bloodline in the Jiang family. The Jiang family was set to be executed with no bloodline to be left behind, but he saved the baby from being killed which is going against the courts and kings orders. It's a crime and if they get caught saving that baby they'd end up dead too.
She's trying to distance herself from him because she is afraid of the destiny they both shared in their previous…
Dou Zhao's understanding of their shared destiny/fate stems from her painful and traumatic experience in her previous life. She has not been able to realize the real fate/destiny that she and Song Mo truly shares. Currently for her, with the constant recent incidents with the arrows, it only supported her belief that they were fated/destined to die together. In the future she will definitely realize this, it also seems by next episode she will slowly warm up to him.
Iβm missing the elephant in the room. Why is Dou Zhao constantly rejecting Song mo? So obediently submitting…
She's trying to distance herself from him because she is afraid of the destiny they both shared in their previous lives. She thinks that being with him will end with the same ending.
Although today's episodes had been on the bit of lighter side, I can't help but feel sad for the Wu family. I am happy about Wu Shan surviving but the injustice their family faced still doesn't sit right with me. His grandfather had long been dedicated and loyal to the court, his views might not have been fitting but he is one of the better officials who serves for righteousness, he worked his whole life just to protect his own family and his beloved grandson. I guess it's good that they are at least left to live, this time with more freedom and away from the toxic court. I can't wait for the bad guy behind all the scheming to get their punishment soon. I don't really like the king for now, but am glad he scolded Song Mo's father.
What am proud of is Song Mo's character development, when he said he had learned to let go of his hatred and follow Dou Zhao's path. The best revenge is indeed not becoming like those who hurt him, but becoming a much better person than them. Him sticking to a more rightful path this time is a sign that Dou Zhao's efforts to defy their destined fate has not been going in vain. It's the little changes that makes the difference for a greater outcome.
Same!! Especially after checking the spoiler clips and pics from their married era!!>< We have like 3-4 kiss scenes,…
