Chalk up another win for the Korean Celebrity Torture/Suicide Machine! Way to go, SK! You should be proud! Also, be proud of having learned NOTHING over 25 years of this appallingly high suicide rate, not only among celebs, but among the Korean public too. Highest in the developed world!
Production companies and sponsors are complicit in this too, massively so. They grant power to a teeny minority of loudmouth Knetz far, far out of proportion to their numbers. Of course, the media is garbage too...blood suckers and murderers.
When an actor gets a DUI, and no one was killed or injured or murdered or raped, why is the judicial system's dealing with it not enough for these vampires? By what exceedingly Puritanical and immature logic is it necessary to cut them out of dramas/movies/kpop groups, pretending they don't exist, as if the mere sight of them onscreen will destroy the nation's moral fiber? It is stupid af.
And to all Knetz everywhere, I wish I could face you and smack the living s**t out of you, one by one. You are vile, unworthy of being wiped from my shoe after I've walked through a pig sty. Seriously, convulse and die already.
It has been 20 months since Lee Sun Kyun died alone in a parked car, just as did this poor man. And yet here we are again. In between, several lesser lights of the Korean entertainment industry took their own lives. It never stops. It is insane.
With sadness, I will add Song Young Kyu's name to my ever-growing list of Korean entertainers dead by suicide. I know it is lacking names that should be there. If you view it and know of someone, please let me know and I will add them to the grim tally. https://kisskh.at/list/1drDvBV3
That's what we already knew, he's a disgusting creep. His parents really failed to teach him what no actually…
So you're still around here, hoping to set fire to what little remains of KK's life. Still won't be happy until you-know-what, eh? YOU are the disgusting creep.
What do you make of the fact that this alleged SEXUAL ASSAULT!!!! boils down to some alleged "swipes and taps" against her thigh at a restaurant table? Women like this accuser make a mockery of women who have suffered REAL sexual assault. She should be shamed out of existence for daring to equate her allegations with rape.
Cue MDLers below, commenting from both sides without knowing, as in actually KNOWING, anything to be true or false one way or the other. It's so much more fun to argue back and forth based on rumors, innuendo, half-truths, etc. Facts are boring.
Not the worst of the "macho dancer"-type movies the Philippines loves to make, which isn't saying much. The two leads are cute, and there's less than usual of that annoying, slow, undulating, snake dance thing gay strippers in Manilla do, or so I take it from skimming through a few such films.
There's a sex scene filmed through a large aquarium that is quite lovely.
I dropped it. Wonder if BL/Yaoi audience love this.
Hello. Scud is mostly a miss for me, though I enjoyed parts of Amphetamine and Permanent Residence. I'm considering giving this one a try. Could you say a bit about what you disliked about Bodyshop? Thanks!
YES! I have felt that tension from the very first episode and was beginning to think I was the only one. I have…
:D Those lips! And Lee Jae Sung's oddly seductive way of delivering those confusingly observational lines about how they are feeling and acting...good god, that kid would have my pants around my ankles before I knew what was happening.
KHG's halting and realistic line deliveries are remarkable. He is unhurried in responding and I see his thought processes and hesitations before he speaks. This is great acting, and most of it will be missed here because the actors are not conventionally pretty.
Yeah, it's really something, the way I find myself responding to them.
well, this is some of the best cinematography and production values I've seen in a Pinoy BL, if BL is the word for this, but the usual problems remain as in most Pinoy productions: Bad writing Bad direction Bad acting The usual plethora of stereotypically queenie gay side characters
Obviously, a good deal of money went into this production, so why doesn't anyone in the Philippines take notes from Korean, Japanese, Taiwanese, and early Thai BLs, and apply what they learn to productions out of their own country?
It is always the same problems, over and over and over again. And no, it's not worth sticking around for the nice beefcake on display, nor what seems to be a lot of sex, though what I've seen so far is quite tame. I can see naked men and hot sex all over the internet in as graphic detail as I want. That is not what I watch BL for. Not that I would mind it being included in an otherwise top-notch BL. Goodness no. Put hot sex, great acting, great direction, great cinematography, together and you've got a hit. This is a miss.
Oh I am mad. You come here talking about a low budget drama that its boring and isn’t original and saying that…
"Oh I am mad." lol You are also weird, childish, and verbose. Fortunately, I don't care what you think and thus, feel no obligation to waste my time interacting with you.
I love Yoonoh - these two have amazing sexual tension. This is my favorite thing airing right now.
YES! I have felt that tension from the very first episode and was beginning to think I was the only one. I have boned out several times while watching these two have their nerdy little chats. They are beautiful. This is a real breath of fresh air.
I feel bad saying this, but after watching 66 Korean BLs, this is the first time I haven’t found the male leads…
I know what you mean, but I think that's half of why this show is so moving for me. They average Joes having a hot, romantic, and beautifully honest courtship. I find it beautiful and quite sexy.
These two might be the cutest freaking BL couple of all time!! I I'm not a fluff-lover or one to be fond of super cute BLs, but I spend half the time watching this show stifling squeals and smiling ear to ear like an idiot. They are adorable af, and all the more so because they are not physically super cute. Also, I have teared up a few times watching this. The delivery guy especially, who early on I suspected might be a player who was pulling this act on several other guys on his route because he's such a smooth talker, is so direct and honest about how he's feeling and helps draw out the same in the other guy....they are truly an original as BL couples go. There has been no one else like these two and I mean that in all the best ways.
It also must be said that this is some of the best, most committed and sexiest kissing I have ever seen in a BL. I feel real sexual heat from these two, and that was before any smooching even began.
After episode 4: The show continues to impress. I am thoroughly enjoying the watch.
Anyone else think the older fellow office worker and the chick with a crush on Kanade need to brush up on respecting other people's personal boundaries, especially in a professional office environment? I was hoping he would throw his drink in the older woman's face when she kept pushing him at the cafe.
I am all in favor of people living outside the closet and existing with dignity openly, but regarding the office chick, once he had turned her down and told her he had a girlfriend, that should have been the end of it. He did not owe it to her to come out, out of some weird, philosophical concept the older woman guilt tripped him with.
He does not know the girl well and there is no telling what she may do with that information. And back at the cafe, he could have ended that conversation very quickly with "going forward, I thank you for minding your own business," then get up and leave.
All that said, I am enjoying the MC immensely. The tall one is a kick in the butt. And I love his slight over bite and arched eyebrows which emphasize whatever it is he is feeling or saying.
Bruh you are obviously just looking for attention, since you can't get positive you'll take negative, like a kid…
Again I ask: You fangirls have your gloriously talented, award-winning goddess IUD to worship and adore. Why do you care so much what some randroid on the internet says? Maybe a little insecure in your IUD idolization? Just a thought.
Bruh you are obviously just looking for attention, since you can't get positive you'll take negative, like a kid…
Yes, I live each day in a feverish panic, longing for the next set of angry, bitterMDL replies to my comments so I will feel validated and have at least one reason to go on living for another day.
Thank you for giving me that. Now I know I will not have to off myself for at least 24 more hours.
Sadly for you however, even if someday I do choose to leave this planet by my own hand due to a lack of responses from MDL dramaQueens such as yourse lf; even if that day comes along and you will know you are rid of me, the factory remains that IUD will still be a terrible actress.
Also, I love when mdlers with zero self-awareness such as yourself, denounce me for seeking attention and then proceed to give me attention even though you claim to know that is what I am after, blah blah blah. lol
Two episodes in and it's stroking all of my Japanese oddness-but-goodness nerve receptors. I've been laughing out loud, but also tearing up. Indicators of a well-written, directed, and acted show. Looking forward to more.
