Why should he be trained if he's already trained? ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
I guess you missed this part: "Were someone like this released upon the public by a superior officer as stupid as the one in this film, he would be a time bomb of death, mayhem, botched investigations, and LAWSUITS waiting to explode. He and the people responsible for him being in such a position would end up in jail for gross negligence and many other crimes."
Imagine if this dude accidentally killed someone he was attempting to apprehend. Now, imagine if the person he killed was an innocent bystander. All hell would break loose.; the department and city would be on the hook for a multi-million $$$ payout. The whole thing is ridiculous.
You can not just "volunteer" to be a cop like you can volunteer at a hospital or orphanage. lol
All that said, please by all means believe as you wish.
There are a lot of annoying, super-prude speech police on this site. They are the reason you and I have to think about things such as whether or not it's OK to spell out the word SEX.
On the other hand, they think nothing of calling actors vile names like pervert, rapist, abuser, piece of sh*t, etc. the moment they are accused of anything by anyone. Always ready to assume the worst, evidence be damned, they fall over themselves and each other to help facilitate the destruction of another career, eager for another celebrity suicide. I loathe them.
lol I didn't censor myself, I was mocking the idea that the word SEX needs to be censored by anyone. SEX is not an obscenity, it is a word describing a fact of life. How did we get to a place where anyone would think otherwise?
Lol, what a wild take. If he really did do what he is accused of & gets convicted, then he deserves no support.
Lol, what a wild take, yourself, Candra.
Next time you read one of my comments, please try to digest what I've written, rather than what you make up in your head. The main point is "IF he really did do what he is accused of..."
What difference would that make? The way KJCTTnetz, the production companies, and the sponsors react to accusations is AS IF the idol already was convicted. It will make zero difference even if the accuser is shown to be a nutcase who made it all up. KK has already been fired from his Jpop group, his agency, and by his sponsors. Please tell me, when and if he is shown to be innocent, how he goes about getting any of that back. Please explain how he will ever be able to repair his reputation.
All it takes is one person willing to make up a lie about being "inappropriately touched," to destroy a male idol's career. Note he hasn't been accused of violent sexual assault, rape, kidnapping, murder, or battery, but of "inappropriate touching," which could be something as innocuous as tapping someone on the shoulder without permission.
Thanks for doing your part to foment the attitude that drives so many Asian celebs to despair and suicide.
I love a good horror, especially the kind dealing in the supernatural; that which we do NOT see rather than that which we do. However, for reasons I'm not up for thinking through right now, I just can't get into this. I did like the energy I got from the shaman actress. Dropping at 25 minutes...
This has been the most unengaging watch for me so far this year. I feel bad for saying this cuz I can see this…
Everything you disliked about this show is exactly what the fluff-n-stuff MDL Little Girl Thai BL fans love. Pretty guys, no dirty/naughty/bad sexual energy, just more rainbows, unicorns, and cotton candy clouds than you can stuff up the Easter Bunny's butt.
This show has small bursts of feels here and there, and overall, the acting's not terrible, but the format kills it. Plus, there's the thing with the plot getting dumber and dumber...but oh, well. I held out as long as I could stand it, but dropped about 2/3 in.
I get a kick out of the actor who plays the director (not that his character does any actual, you know, directing here or anything).
Dropped. 1/10
On edit: Just noticed the rating above. lol Oh MDL, never change. This place would rate a steaming turd 8.5/10 as long as it had "BL" stamped on its rancid, corn-studded surface.
Errrrr they have sex in the latest ep. It takes time to build up a story
Errrrr...please quote me where I said I was waiting for them to have sex. Thanks.
I will repeat myself: "Moreover, during those near-72 minutes, I saw nothing that interested me enough to keep watching, BL or otherwise." ANY show, gay, straight, BL, movie, series, whatever, that doesn't give me a reason to keep watching in 72 minutes of runtime is a failure. If you don't mind waiting 72 minutes or six episodes or whatever, that's cool. You're not me and I'm not you, so it works out.
lol Sad, but unsurprising that you find "paragraphs" challenging. I capitalize and use most punctuation too.
"I don’t wanna even bother using my energy to respond to someone with zero logical thinking..." says the person using their energy to respond anyway.
Tell me, is calling Kamimura Kenshin "a piece of shit" on his profile page from under cover of a screen name, a good use of your incredibly valuable energy and amazingly logical thinking?
Oh gosh, I'm sorry...here I go using paragraphs again.
Lol! I was going to watch this but I didn't know if it was gay.I'm not into "BL" but, even though the straight…
Nah, "bigot" means what it means now, not a hundred years ago. People who have bigoted (current definition, not 1925 or whatever) beliefs/values are, indeed, "bigots."
Lame attempt to rationalize your prejudice. Try better.
On edit: Oh, and look at you, the person who's not into "gay stuff," back here again, commenting on a page for a show that's gayer than gay. Closet case, much?
Tell me, exactly, what happened to the "victim" while she was in her shoes?I'd like to know the deep pain she…
To summarize, then: You don't know what happened to the alleged victim while she was "in her shoes," but you are comfortable telling other people to imagine what you don't know. You have no idea what, if any, pain she has experienced, but you're comfortable telling other people to experience it anyway. Despite the above stated facts, you are comfortable calling Kamimura Kenshin a "piece of shit" on a public Internet forum; from under your rock of anonymity, of course. The best reply you can come up with is "someone's unemployed." Got it.
You're a JKCTTnetz with zero regard for truth, presumption of innocence, or decency. Good for you, I guess.
Ok, so I can understand when people complain about The On1y One or Heesu in Class 2 not being BL, being censored,…
Hi any_anka. Thanks for your reply. It will give me a chance to clarify a bit.
I dropped the show two and 3/4 episodes in, so I my comments apply only to that portion of its running time. That said, I am of the strong opinion that any "BL" that doesn't show me some significant BL vibes or action in the first almost 90 minutes, is not a BL. Anything I saw was the bare minimum, if that.
Moreover, during those near-72 minutes, I saw nothing that interested me enough to keep watching, BL or otherwise. This is where my "standards-free" remark comes in: I don't know, or want to know, how to lower my standards for a drama or film just because it's a BL. Thai BL makers know their audience does just that, which is why they keep putting out such dreck. They know BLers will keep watching, no matter what. Unfortunately, SK, JP, and TW BL makers lately seem to be following the Thai example.
If I'm bored, I'm bored; it doesn't matter if it's BL or mainstream content. If I'm rolling my eyes at lame acting or hilariously awful production values and writing, my eyes are doing loops, whether gay or straight characters are on screen.
As to what qualifies as a BL, I'd say the romance not only has to be between two dudes, it has to be believable. This is why I mentioned above, I see straight-acting actors pretending to be gay here, not actors BEING gay characters. And that problem is three-pronged: Actors holding back because they don't want to be TOO convincing as a gay character and thus be taken as gay IRL, thus in their minds jeopardizing future career prospects; actors not being talented or experienced enough to inhabit their characters convincingly; and directors who suck.
I'll add the qualifier I hate adding to all of the above, and say it is JUST MY OPINION. I hate adding that qualifier because the fact that I wrote it kind of indicates it is my opinion and no one else's. Seems to me, MDLers spend a lot of time apologizing for their opinions out of fear of being swarmed by those who disagree with them. I bet I've been attacked a couple hundred times here with words to the effect of "well, that is just YOUR opinion," or "I have a right to my opinion," and other variations, when, of course, I wrote nothing implying otherwise. :D
On edit: I saw no believable attraction or chemistry between the mains.
Tell me, exactly, what happened to the "victim" while she was in her shoes? I'd like to know the deep pain she has experienced, so that I can empathize.
Oh also, could you please explain how you know what this "piece of shit" did to her?
idk why she isnt fired yet.She is not allowed to let her personal thoughts and opinions into these articles but…
Her PERSONAL thoughts are made apparent by the fact that she disappeared Yoo Ah In from an article about a film in which he is one of the five leads. She may as well have written, "I think Yoo Ah In is unworthy of having his name mentioned, because he was charged, tried, and convicted of a crime. It does not matter that he has been punished and released from jail. We should pretend he does not exist as continued punishment, and as a means of wiping his existence from the culture." Lily Alice isn't honest enough to write the above statement. Instead, she simply removed Yoo from the mention. It is weird and Orwellian of her to do so.
"Were someone like this released upon the public by a superior officer as stupid as the one in this film, he would be a time bomb of death, mayhem, botched investigations, and LAWSUITS waiting to explode.

Regardless of that, this comment shows how logic-phobic you are.
All best to you.
Dropping at 25 minutes...
No lip movements or tongues, please.
