Not the noble idiocy to finish the series... Grr!!
"Noble idiocy." I love that.

Also, Min Joona! Please stand up!! If it wasn't you, it would be someone else. That's how homophobia works.😔😔…
hmmm...I don't think it's a good idea to be in a relationship with a homophobe like JH in the first place. Of course, it would have been fun to see MJ stand up for himself and make a huge display of being JH's man, then tell him to kiss his ass and walk away.

Just my opinion: I see a lot of people frustrated with Min Joon but the thing is, it doesn't matter how much Jin…
Yes, BUT...the thing with JH deliberately leaving MJ, who came to the wedding WITH JH at his invitation, to fend for himself at the edge of that photo-bit really pissed me off. Had they been a straight couple, there is no way he would have left his girlfriend alone on the edge of a large group of people she didn't know well. He would have pulled her into the group with is friends.

THEN... JH deliberately hides his relationship with MJ when asked who he is dating by his friends. With MJ standing RIGHT THERE, he does this, and not just once, but two or three times. Again with the casual cruelty.

I fully understand that MJ is terribly insecure, but so does JH and still he did the things I mentioned above. They are a terribly unhealthy combination. MJ needs therapy and antidepressants before dating anybody, least of all someone like JH.

It doesn't help that the show is badly written in general, of course. These motivations and relationship quirks are not well-portrayed. I don't know if JH's behavior is to show him as a jerk, or whether the inconsistencies are the result of poor writing. It's all quite frustrating, especially because overall the show isn't very good and I'm watching to this point only because my BL plate is bare.

Thanks for your comment. Min Jun has an insecure, avoidant attachment style. Changing that takes time and requires…
This is beautifully expressed. Thank you.

Episode 5 reaction, before reading comments:

MILD SPOILERS BELOW:

I know the feelings of insecurity and angst that pull at MunJin. It wasn't' until this episode though, that I identified with him, and strongly so.
However, and I say this with empathy and compassion, what he needs is good therapy and self-care before he enters into relationship with anyone, let alone a casually cruel person like Jin Hwan.

The day after that beautifully-performed love scene and the lovemaking I presume followed after the cut-away, JH once again put MJ at a distance. He obscured their relationship and was deliberately evasive when his friends asked about his dating status. He put distance between himself and MJ, intentionally leaving MJ to fend for himself on the edge of the group portrait, when he easily could have pulled him to be beside him with his friends in the shot.

I perceive JH as either oblivious to his own actions, or deliberately mean, push-pulling MJ back and forth for the fun of it...? He seemed authentically affectionate and eager to talk things out leading up to the presumably hot sex. Then, the next day, he seems vaguely distant while still giving off enough connection vibes to keep MJ guessing. And guessing is the LAST thing MJ needs in an intimate relationship. He is correct, and I give him credit for, understanding that a relationship with JH will bring bucket loads of pain and sadness.

I sincerely wish he would begin therapy and look into antidepressants. He needs to focus on repairing himself in general; dating is a long way down the list of what should be his priorities. Of course, if all messed-up drama characters did therapy and meds, the plots would be dull in the extreme. :)

And yeah, whether intentionally or not, JH is a jerk.

Episode 6: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...lol

This is not the worst BL ever made, but it is certainly one of the most boring.
I laughed twice, just because of how dull this episode was.
Good Lord.

Hi Killer Knetz Klown.

You must have a lot of free time to harass celebrities and to write replies to MDL randos who you imagine are harassing you.
Why don't you get a job or something constructive?

"Get lost. I'm done!" it snarled. Blood spiraled from its fangs as it spun on its cloven hooves and stomped out of the thread. The door slammed against its gigantic ass as it cleared the threshold, and it squealed with a start. (We all know it will be back for more...Knetz live for this stuff.)

Congratulations, Knetz. You just laid out for all to see the bitter, jealous, and resentful Knetz mindset toward…
Wow. The rationalizations here speak for themselves, Knetz. Watch carefully what accusations you make about this young woman or any other celebrity here. The mods are ready and eager these days to take down such filth. I'm ready and eager to report it, as are a lot of other MDLers who are sick and tired of the abuse.

Your not liking to read Korean suicide statistics ("guilt-tripping and emotionally manipulating other people..." lol If you feel guilt it's because you deserve to. Suicide statistics don't guilt me because I don't help drive people to that point like Knetz do.), but that is your problem, not mine. Reflect on why you feel guilty when confronted with them.

I no longer engage your kind beyond a couple of replies. Watch what you write.

Bravo for "How To Make Millions...," Billkin!
You had me riveted through ITSAY and IPYTM. It's wonderful to see you continuing to grow into your career. Thank you for all the quality feels. You are a remarkable actor.

I'll be watching for years to come.

Beautiful and heartbreaking, in the best combination of those qualities I've seen in quite some time.

I am happy to see my faith in Billkin's talent play out as his career advances. He and the grandma actress are remarkable here. The restrained subtlety in their acting, together and separately, makes every feeling they evoke far more powerful than if they'd been chewing scenery as many lesser actors would have done.

Accordingly, kudos to the director for guiding them to give their best to us, the audience.

I just finished watching this, so am wrecked right now. Perhaps I'll be back to write more when I'm feeling less raw. Until then...

9.5/10

Happy to see a deserving film get a relatively high MDL rating. Far too often, this is not the case.

Good for her! These celebrities don’t owe us anything except doing their job to the best of their abilities.…
Agreed, even if MDL doesn't.
Note the use of the word "belatedly" in the headline.
MDL thinks it was owed.

The same people advocating for respecting celebrities' privacy and "minding our own business" rush to fawn over…
Congratulations, Knetz. You just laid out for all to see the bitter, jealous, and resentful Knetz mindset toward celebrities. This is the attitude that has driven Korean celebrities to suicide by the dozens over the last 20 years.

Who, exactly, "rushed to fawn" over this birth?
Why did your mind immediately slither its way to picturing these parents in the act of procreation, and why did you describe two lovely humans making love as if they were Gorillas with "primal acts and multiplying?"

Never mind, I know why. It's how lonely, loveless Knetz with chips on their shoulders the size of Korea, itching for another suicide thrill, feel.
