Oh my gosh, thanks for sharing this news and the link. I watched the video and seeing KSH's photo and anti-cyber bullying messages flash up is a beautiful thing.
I'm American and have been to Times Square many times. At night, it feels like the center of the universe.
Korean Legal TitanEven though the circumstances surrounding Ga Se-yeon’s evidence fabrication are being revealed…
THIS. The Korean Suicide Machine has been killing off celebs with wild abandon for at least 20 years. I've done a lot of reading about this and became fascinated by the culture of cruelty and judgment leading to suicides in Korea. It is beyond appalling.
My first brush with this phenomenon was when I stumbled across SHINee music and videos on youtube. I obsessively watched their music videos and concerts for about two weeks, almost instantly picking out Jonghyun as the one who shone the brightest onstage and had a voice, the qualities of which I'd never heard before. Then, in comments I read that he had been dead by suicide for two years already. I wept like a child. I had never reacted like that to a celeb death.
Over time I learned more and more about what a scourge suicide culture is in Korea. Not just among the famous who are harassed to death, but among the society in general. SK has the highest rate of suicides among developed nations, by far. Sick, sick, sick.
according to flag msg everything is offensive and degratory except the rage baits from his supporters.
lol You poor thing, frustrated you can no longer poop lies, rumors, and distortions about a celeb's personal life and character on MDL. I am excited that the mods are waking up.
Why did you falsely accuse someone and how do you have the nerve to announce doing so?Did you come clean and clear…
Hi Piss. Look, I'm sorry that you're not intelligent or perceptive and that you're angry about that. I sincerely am. But please try to comprehend the following:
" As someone who has accused an innocent guy for molesting me when I was younger, and he got heavily punished(Not proud of it). " When a "random stranger" confesses aspects of their private life on the Internet, everyone who comes across their post has a perfect right to respond as they wish. My questions to her are my response.
Did anyone say she HAS TO tell me "shit?" No, she can respond or not as she chooses. Your stupidity is equaled in quantity only by the hilarity of your spit-spewing bro-speak.
Please explain how this is "crazy sad."He has been accused by some anonymous broad. He pleaded not guilty. Nothing…
And what if pigs could fly, Stan?
Any reply to any comment of any kind, whether the response is favorable, negative, or in between, requires a "judgment" of the contents and the person who wrote them. We judge things all day, every day we're alive.
What you MEANT to say was "stop judging people and their comments negatively because I don't like your judgments or your way of expressing them." Here's a thought: How you feel about those things is of no interest to me.
"...respect opinions" lol Some opinions Stan, such as "the Earth is flat" or "this artist is a disgusting person because I say so" are unworthy of my respect, so you know, I don't respect them.
You go ahead and do that, though, Stan. You go ahead and express respect for things you don't respect. You do you, as the kids say.
It is revealing that you don't seem to respect MY opinions.
I've seen this show at least 52 times before. Plot: Miscommunication beyond plausibility (how original!), rinse, and repeat endlessly
Writing: Bad. First, we are shown the story from one perspective, then another, and we're supposed to marvel at the vast differences in how two humans can perceive the same event in dramatically different ways. This is true. However, the biggest problem is that the first time around, Jin Hwan was clearly behaving in a jerkish, arrogant, smartass way (much as many of my comments are written). But the second time around, in the version told from his perspective, his AFFECT and manner are entirely different. He goes from being a jerk to being an all-round, super nice fellow. BS and bad writing. To pull this off requires skills the writing teams does not possess.
Acting: Wooden af. It's hilarious how they stand stiffly, arms flat against their bodies, and deliver lines AT each other rather than to each other in a believably human manner.
Direction: lol, are you kidding?
This show is really bad but I keep watching because I can at least stand it and I'm intensively BL-deprived at the moment. I went three or four weeks with ZERO watchable BLs to enjoy, then this thing came along and I'm clinging to it like a snail to a rotting corpse. It tastes like shit but at leads it feeds my BL craving and allows me to continue living.
Sometimes these days, I wonder whether, if I stumbled across BL World now instead of five and a half years ago, I would be as instantly obsessed as I was then. Or if I would even bother.
I first discovered the classics that had aired in their entirety. I binged SOTUS and its abominably bad sequel, which I thrilled to simply because I had never seen a romance between two young college guys portrayed; ever. The mannequin and dead fish kisses were bizarre af and I wondered what the hell was going on, but it was SOMETHING.
Then...I came across "Lovesick and its sequel," "Make It Right" and its follow-up, "Love By Chance," but NOT its horrible sequel, "Together With Me" and sequel, "TharnType" and NOT its sequel, and many other remarkable shows, some better some worse, from the cannon of early BLs. It was binge Heaven. I thrilled and wept and went "wtf?" a lot, but in a good way.
Then...Korea, Japan, and Taiwan got in on the act and my hopes soared...but the last year not so much. Korea is now turning out dreck like this on the regular and Taiwan squirts out one here and there with mixed results. Japan seems to have given up altogether. And of course the TOOTS (Turds Out Of Thailand) Machine keeps pooping and I keep flushing, but long ago it got to the point where I stopped checking to see what had landed in the toilet.

Bravo, MDL!!!
I feel sorry for your grandkids. I hope your hateful behavior doesn't rub off on them.
10/10 again. :)
Atheists can hunt Easter eggs too!
Happy Easter!

I have zero interest in your opinions of me.

Is this the end of BL...?
