You didn't even completed one episode and you think it is waste of time and everything? That's rather weird conclusion…
Why thank you. Yeah, I rarely even try Thai BLs anymore because the quality of everything is so consistently bad. When these shows are being churned out at the rate of several a week, there is no way the productions are given the time required to produce something of worth.

It seems as if shows like this are aimed at very young Fujoshis, who will watch any BL, no matter how bad. It's a similar phenomenon to kpop fangirl armies, who consume everything kpop, no matter how cheesy.

hmmm...I clearly stated that I had watched ONE AND ONE-HALF episodes which is actually, more than one.

"...And honestly, it is not that terrible of a series you're making it out to be..."
lol What a ringing, powerful endorsement of the show! "...not THAT terrible" indicates you see it as being "terrible" also, just not AS terrible as I do.

Either way, it's terrible.

Wouldn't that very much depend on what sexual acts you participated in with that person and how risky they are?…
"YOU DON'T TELL A PERSON YOU ARE HIV+ AFTER YOU'VE SLEPT WITH THEM. You're only going to traumatise the poor soul for the rest of their life!"

I'm slow...so please bear with me. The above-quoted statement seems to mean that if you fail to tell someone before sex, don't tell them at all. Is it meant to mean "You tell someone BEFORE having sex, not after!?" I'm kind of lost. And now you've introduced condoms not being 100% effective...when I didn't say they are because I know they aren't...so why are you telling me that?

Oh well, no need to reply. I was just seeking some clarity on your original meaning, but I just realized it doesn't matter if I get it. Sorry to have bothered you.

That's exactly what irked me the most in the entire series! Having spent a huge deal of time on gay dating apps,…
Wouldn't that very much depend on what sexual acts you participated in with that person and how risky they are? If all you did was kiss, sure don't bother telling them. But if you had bareback sex, whether top or bottom, you damn well should tell them so they can be tested. If you came in their mouth you damn well should tell them...no? What am I missing here? How is this a question?

Of course, the best time to tell them is BEFORE you have sex of any kind, right? Or again...what am I missing?

Kwon Sang Woo got by on his looks for far too long. He is a boring, one-note actor. That cocky, smirking street thug thing he does is all I've ever seen him do, in every damn flick he's in.

I knew nothing of T.O.P. as a huge kpop star with BigBang when I first saw him in another flick. He continues to amaze me here with his natural screen presence and innate acting talent. Too bad none of it wore off on KSW.

Great flick. 9/10

After episode 6:

Goodness. I had no idea when I started watching that this series would become one of the most intriguing/engaging/original BLs I've seen, among hundreds. Through ep. 4, its zaniness and Japanese freak-show style was good enough to keep me following along, but now it's become angsty, touching, tender, and conflicting, all without losing any of the aforementioned qualities.

Pretty sure the subs I'm getting are a tad fucked-up, but even that fits the vibe of what's going on here.
For once, even as presented in the show's off-the-wall vibe, a gay panic arc makes perfect sense given the character experiencing it and the circumstances. I loved how tender, sweet, and new their interaction in that moment felt right up until "...my dad told me to mow the lawn." hahaha...lol

Even the subsequent Kimino/Yumeno conversation/explanation got its point across without losing the off-kilter thread of this thing. I'm certainly not sure what to make of the nutcase, shrieking, town gossips' fantasy ("rolling around naked," what? lol), but it's all part of the fun, as is the most profound and hilarious, core theme...CUCUMBERS!!! :D

I adore this show and I adore Yumeno most of all. His central place in the story snuck up on me slowly and now, he and the script are pulling off his crucial arc with a rare and successful sort of believable craziness. Love it all.

Oh, and our hero's calm presence at the center of all this madness, which comes both from him and AT him simultaneously, is...hilarious. He is a quietly acquiescent flower with balls of steel.

Your reply "comes across very weird from you" to me. So we're even.

Also, please note my deliberate use of the word "possibly."

In the case of this BL I don't think the explanation provided in episode 5 is exactly truthful. I think DH is…
For me, a show like this has already crossed some lines it can't come back across because even if we get some last-minute revelations that explain this and that, the fact remains that DH cut things off and disappeared for 12 years without bothering to CLARIFY whatever was his basis for doing that. It's a common BL habit: Make HUGE life choices based on info you can't be certain you are perceiving correctly. Plus, in this case, DH got his panties in a twist because he supposedly believed JY to have struck his father...well, f**k yeah, he knew his father had been beating JY regularly. The idea that he would be upset that JY finally struck back is absurd. Hell, DH himself nearly put a knife in the old bastard's back. It's just insulting.

Sharing roughly your opinion, and having watched "Hidamari ga Kikoeru" and "Happy of the End" with a similar opinion,…
Well, DO go into it with an open mind. God knows the raving majority on MDL thinks it's a "masterpiece." lol I was impressed and engaged immediately with ep 1 but it began to slip by the end of 2, then...well, you know my story. :) Give it a chance; no harm in doing so.

I have no interest in trashing good shows. Hell, I wish they were all good, so I would have a lot more BL material to enjoy. That's not the case.

Earth - possibly worst actor in BL history. Always the same, no range.
Terrible series, waste of money, time, everything put into it.
Dropped after 1 1/2 eps.

how could you Rating this movie and it's still hasn't released yet?? first you watch it then tell us your think…
Not on MDL. Here, thought-police down-rate shows they claim deceived them into believing it was a BL. Of course, they haven't seen it yet, so how would they know?

Bigger question is why does MDL allow rating of a show that hasn't even been released yet?

Why is the rating so LOW???
MDL psycho fans claim this was marketed as a BL, so down-rating is their immature way of lashing out. lol

Wow! You really laid your cards on the table. I appreciate and respect your candor. Personally I have viewed over…
My four-show list refers specifically, and only, to RECENT BLs that "started strong and went to shit." Of course, there are hundreds of BLs that are shit from start to finish, but they neither started strong and went to shit, nor aired in the last few weeks.

No, people, Do Hoe does not need therapy. He needs a good beating, followed by institutionalization in a facility focused on teaching grown men not to be douche bags.

Oh look! Another BL in which MCs make huge, life-altering choices based on absolutely ridiculous assumptions resulting from entirely unbelievable circumstances.
Oh look! Another BL in which MCs make no attempt to contact each other for countless years, then run into each other and solve everything in three minutes, followed by a kiss.
Oh look! Another BL in which MCs don't age even a little bit over more than a decade.
Oh look! Another BL in which MCs are psycho/angry/unbalanced for the flimsiest of reasons.
Oh look! The first BL I've seen in which a tiny piece of paper remained neatly folded under the edge of a desk leg for 12 F**KING YEARS. (Though similar miracles are legion in BL World.)
Oh look! Another BL in which multiple hot, smart men chase after an unattractive, abusive, mentally-ill protagonist.
Oh look! Another BL in which...on and on, blah blah blah...

I do not accept that my standards need to be lowered for BLs because well, they're BLs. I have seen enough well-written BLs to know that the genre does not require bad/lazy/improbable/implausible writing/plotting to qualify for the BL label. So why does this phenomenon repeat itself over and over, even in high-quality shows like this with high production values?

I do not know the answer, but I have questions:
Do the producers/directors/writers get lazy because they look down on their audience and figure if people keep watching crap out of Thailand, they'll watch anything, so why bother?
Do the same people get off on insulting their core audience?
Does the BL industry, even outside of Thailand, attract a less talented, creative, and hard-working pool of industry professionals with lower standards than their counterparts in the mainstream?

Hell, I don't know, but I do know this is the fourth recent, non-Thai BL to start strong and go to shit with the problems mentioned above:
I Hear the Sunspot
Happy of the End
Love In the Big City
Let Free the Curse of Taekwondo

If nothing else, at least this disappointing series has exposed me to the talents and good looks of Lee Seon, who has been the bright spot in this otherwise increasingly dreary mess.

Bloated, pretentious, pile of over-wrought, badly-written crap.

oooh look! Countless, on-the-nose allusions to the passion of the Christ. That's never been done before!
Any film whose plot takes place in Asia, that has all its Asian characters speaking in stilted English, even to each other without an American in sight, is doomed from the start. Apparently, Josh Hartnett was too lazy to learn Cantonese so they made all the Asian actors speak English...badly.

Masturbatory delusions of grandeur from the director. Just ponderous and awful. I kept watching out of fascination with how much money had been wasted and how many absurdities there were in the writing.

Hartnett's acting is flat as usual, and the hot chick who lays around whimpering, when she's not servicing various men, is one of the worst actors I've seen.

2/10 The two stars are for Hartnett's shirtless scene. LBH's over-muscled body is cut to the point of being off-putting. Any man with that kind of body spends little time outside their home gym, and we never saw LBH lift anything heavier than a gun.

Avoid.
