I agree. There is no way it got to be this bad just from cutting YAI scenes. Although...if the first edit focused a lot more on him instead of the other 37 side-stories, perhaps it was a good show. At this point, there's just no way to know.

It's stunning to me that a director would chop up a finished work he'd been producing for more than a year, just to appease psycho Korean netizens.
