I'd go with Connecting first, which is light, then into Love, which is pretty dark.

Connecting got substantially better over eps 8, 9, & 10, so that's good. The last two come out just today.

Episode 2: So far, so good, but I didn't know this was an Idol Drama, which means it will be a bromance pretending to be a BL.

Sui is one of the most delightfully unusual, quirky, original main characters I've encountered in BL.
He's a mashup of elf, nerd, mouse, and sweetness with a uniquely cute face, including one of the most interesting cupid's bows I've seen.

I love that he was eager to cheer on Harutora from the very beginning; he's not a depressive mouse, he's a cautious mouse, and with good reason.

Also, I like that the students who joked to Sui about being gay are not being portrayed as mindlessly cruel bullies, but rather as ignorant young dudes who do things without thinking them through. Now that Sui gave three of them something to think about, they're rapidly coming around. 😊

I liked the show so much that I posted my psa on all seven pages of the BLs I'm watching.

I don't mind miscommunication plots when they're done well, as I feel this show does.
I was so dazzled by the lighting and set designs, and cinematography that I feel I may have missed half the plot, so I'll have to rewatch it. :D

Episode 4:
In all its awkward, hilarious glory, that was beautiful.

That said, I'm still waiting for a BL that will acknowledge three things:
1. Top/bottom roles are not fixed in stone as these shows tend to portray them.
I try not to get too worked up over this, as I know the seme/uke trope is probably the strongest of all the BL tropes, even if it's not accurate to real life.
But still, it would be so interesting, surprising, and hot to show us a relationship in which the roles are not a twisted, mirror image of straight, male/female sex roles, and in which the guys are versatile.
2. Butt sex does not have to hurt, and if it does, you're doing it wrong.
3. There are countless sexual acts two men can engage in other than butt sex.
In BL Land they nearly always go straight from a peck on the lips to traveling the Hershey Highway. That's not how it works.
About 45% of gay men never or rarely have butt sex at all.
You would never know this from watching BLs, though, because butt sex is presented as the gay equivalent to vaginal sex between a man and a woman.

For that reason I'm not a fan of what Sui said to the guys who showed him the video in this episode, something to the effect of "they do it that way because it's the only way they can," as if it's a lesser fallback to vajayjay sex. It's not a fallback for gay men, it's the main goal and nobody's yearning to have a vaj instead of a poop chute.

All that said, I miss the post-butt sex toilet humor of early BLs such as "Make It Right."
The morning-after experiences of the bottoms in those shows were LOL-hilarious.
In that spirit, I appreciate Harutora's "Do you want to take the day off from classes?" as Sui held his butt and limped toward school. 😂😅🤣
The idea that someone would be nearly immobile the day after losing their butt virginity is inherently hilarious and I can dig that kind of humor when it's done well.
But then, what do I know? Maybe Harutora is hung like a stallion and Sui really IS sore.
But in that case, he should head to the nurse's office, not the classroom.😉
