Haven't watched it but just saw a clip on Youtube literally came here to comment the same thing and she does it…
Amazing but unsurprising that you're commenting to object to a movie's supposed pro-cheating message when you haven't watched the damn thing yet.
No, FAR fewer people complain about violence than about sex scenes and you know it. Your attempt to lump violence in the same category with sex and nudity is telling. You're a prude.
Please provide a quote where I asserted that people are NOT allowed to discuss things they do or don't like. You won't find one because I never said that.
However, "discussion" includes interaction with people who disagree with you. You can say anything you want, but don't expect you'll never be challenged on your statements.

You're an idiot incapable of coherent reasoning.
"It feels like they are trying to make these situations the norm and to make people think it is OK..."
Please describe in what way "they" are "trying to make" cheating "OK." What about the plot or characters gives you the vibe that this is a pro-cheating film? Does the cheater win prizes for cheating?
Anything that happens in life is fair game for fiction, and presenting such scenarios is not the same as endorsing them. There are a thousand murder mysteries and yakuza flicks out there. Are you arguing that the people who make those are actively promoting murder and other violence as being OK?
Fairly typical, self-righteous, up-tight, prude comment from an MDLer who lives in a fantasy universe of black…
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I get that you're morally superior to the rest of us. Did you know this is a fictional, live-action piece, and that just because people do things in it that don't meet the error-free standard of your own conduct, doesn't mean you have to rush out and commit adultery or "cheat" or whatever. Seriously, do you look to dramas and films for your moral guidance? When you watch a murder mystery or a yakuza flick, so you run out and kill people? And on the pages of those productions, do you post comments about how immoral the characters are for killing other humans.
No, you don't. Because you're obsessed with your own self-righteousness and other people's sex lives.
YAAAAAY! The teacher loves the student! PEDOPHILIA! Hooray! :P
Seriously, fun episode. Actually, this story is comically melodramatic at times. When Sahara first walked into the river with his shoes on, and then fell to all fours while telling his tale of woe, I laughed out loud. But the overall story is charming and all the actors are incredibly cute and talented, so I'm not complaining.
Toki is so comically expressive, whether he's happy, sad, or in between, he emotes with all his heart and body. I love him. Shinji is drop-dead handsome, but Toki is drop-dead beautiful, so I'll call it a tie. Flawless ivory skin or flawless caramel skin...I'll go either way. But Toki makes me laugh a lot so he's my definite bias.
And once again, MDL gives a truly exceptional film a low rating. But then I remind myself of MDL's membership demographics and it all makes sense.
This was my third watch of this film, but this time, I read the review provided by member "bmore" two comments below before watching. Having done so made a tremendous difference in what I perceived this time that I had not before. There is so much more here than what the film has to say about the Korean military alone.
It's a real mind-blower to learn this film was done as a senior thesis at university, and that Yoon Jong Bin, who plays the somewhat dim-witted character Ji-Hoon, is THE DIRECTOR! lol Wow, the guy's amazing. I had zero suspicion during me two earlier watches that this impactful piece was created on an extremely tight budget.
Read the review first. You'll be glad you did. It contains no spoilers.
I don't block people tbh. I may disagree with them, or if I really don't like them I just don't read what they…
I used to feel similarly, but I've admitted to myself that some people are so revolting to me that I don't want to be reminded of them and their sick bullshit. In short, it's better for my mental health not to see their awful comments, nor be reminded of their existence.
An analogy: I know someone has taken a humongous dump in the bathroom off my bedroom. I also know, having opened the door unawares just minutes before, that the stench in that bathroom is eye-wateringly foul. Nauseating. Like, I nearly puked after one breath.
Was confused about who Larami was until I scrolled down. Damn, she seems upset about some personal issues, but…
I'm in "discussion" mode, and I asked you to please provide one or two of the "valid arguments" you claimed that person had made. Rather than do so, as one might do in a discussion, you've ignored the request with a misdirection-style statement, claiming you're wondering why I'm "in argument mode." I'm not. Why are you in avoidance mode?
You claimed above that you like having "discussions," so let's discuss the "valid arguments" made by the person you referred to. For us to have that discussion, you would first have to tell me what arguments you're talking about. Seems reasonable.
This happens a lot on MDL: Certain commenters make assertions, and when challenged about them, reply with "Why are you upset? You seem upset." or "Why are you so mean?" or "Who hurt you when you were five?" or "I get to have an opinion too!"
All that aside, I look forward to discussing the valid arguments the commenter in question made. Thanks.

I don't waste my time arguing with people who shit on the dead and claim the sky is red when it is clearly blue.
Secondly, what is it with MDLers who reply "you seem upset" when they encounter a strong argument against their position as a means of demeaning that argument...like you just did?
I'm not the least bit upset. I'm disgusted, I know why, and I'm perfectly calm about it.
Underrated comment belowCheating is sweet if its done by main leads. It only happens in k and j dramas that on…
Who is "we?" WHO is supporting "cheating" by female leads?
This is a MOVIE. It is fiction. It is not real life, understand. By watching and enjoying this film, no one is "supporting" cheating or anything else. They are watching a movie, being entertained and or given things to think about, after which they go home from the theatre or turn off the computer and go to bed, cook dinner, or otherwise get back to their lives.
Unlike you, most viewers don't look to fictional movies for their moral guidance. Maybe you should stop doing that.

I am curious though: Could you share one or two "valid arguments" that POS made, that you find worthy of consideration?
Doesn't the volume of vicious, unsubstantiated rumors and outright lies deliberately constructed to insinuate rather than inform, render her unreliable and beneath contempt, regardless of anything else?

I'm glad I'm not seeing that crap. Plus, I'm not tempted to waste more time screaming at them.

Why would I keep opening the door?

I don't engage with such people.
Also "larami" and "xGinax."
I urge everyone here with a brain and a heart to do the same. Denying these disgusting liars an audience is the least we can do.
