I thought this episode was a little boring compared to the others. I want to give a positive and a negative though.
Positive: I don't know what Sher's preferred sexual position is but it seems like it's the bottom, at least with Fah. If that's the case with everyone else he's with I'm glad he's still portrayed as an emotionally unavailable but cool playboy. I feel like when a character is a promiscuous bottom they're usually categorized as a "whore". Fiat from Don't Say No comes to mind. It's a nice change.
Negative: Oof, that basketball court scene. When Fah yelled "shia" and his voiced cracked a little, I let out a small chuckle. Did they not want to give him another take to try it again? To maybe sound a little more serious? Idk, overall it wasn't that big of deal I just thought it was funny.
I really enjoyed the first episode! Even though it's a series dealing with death its still lighthearted. It was a little silly but it seems like they're aware of that. It doesn't feel like it's trying to be something its not.
The first English interaction was actually really cute. I don't usually audibly laugh at shows but Pluem telling Kevin to sit down was really funny for some reason.
Well, that certainly was... something. Neither of the leads are particularly likable in any sense, but I guess they don't technically have to be? I like the two bodyguards or whatever they are, they're fun. I do love two extremely cold people warming up to each other and falling in love but, these 2 might have to work for it lmao.
DAMN. One single episode and I'm immediately obsessed. Sign me the fuck up. Apparently all of Japan held a meeting and said "hey for 2022, what if we put our entire pussy in every BL we make?" Still haven't missed this year.
I’ve seen some people saying the reason Sky accepted Pai’s advances in the beginning was because of Sky’s background of being mistreated and seeing the worst in people. So I haven't read the novel but if that is the case I would love if we could get some sort of dialogue between the two of them along the lines of Sky being like “I acted this way because you made me feel a certain type of way based on past experiences” and Pai saying like “I apologize for making you feel that way it wasn’t my intention”. I just want to see some sort of softness in Pai’s character in general but it’s also only been one episode so we have plenty of time lol. The sunflowers were a start.
Mm, I think I'm gonna need some time to warm up to these two. I didn't love their initial meeting, which I could go into but after reading some of the most offensive things I've ever seen on this website I don't really want to do that (as someone who has been in that exact position lol). I think I just really resonated with Rain/Payu that I just want even more of them, I don't quite have second couple syndrome. I definitely see the potential, I'll continue to watch to see how they develop. Still looking forward to every episode week by week lol

Next week looks very dramatic, I'm excited.
