So in the Gagaoolala version, when Hyeon introduced his job as a drag artist, the background music is Sissy That Walk, but on the iQIYI version it's just some nondescript music. I wonder what happened there.
I'm sure they talked about it among themselves, we're just not shown that. It's actually a thing that baffled…
That's true.
I sure hope that after the show is over, some of the contestants will spill behind-the-scene tea. Because with this kind of reality show, there's a lot of just waiting around for the next activity or while the contestants are being interviewed by the producer, so I wonder how much bonding they get to do off camera.
I like this a lot but i have one concern as gay person myself. I know that roles in bed are as important like…
I'm sure they talked about it among themselves, we're just not shown that. It's actually a thing that baffled me, having a bunch of gay dudes together with an explicit purpose of finding a partner, but there's no sex talk at all, not even a sex joke or innuendo. So I reckon it's an editing choice, because I just can't imagine it happened irl.
Ok, are they setting up the plot for season 2 or what? Or maybe they save a director's cut with more scenes? Because the ending right now gives a "eh, that's it?" feel.
I wanted to say "I wonder if this is really just 6 episodes. I don't know how they'll resolve everything in just one episode". Then I realized, the description of each episode in Gagaoolala actually summarizes the plot of that episode... And I've read the one for the finale out of unawareness.
So I've been spoiled... by the very app that streams the show. Let this be a warning: if you watch in Gagaoolala, do NOT read the description of episode 6.
omg what are history 3 MODC guys doing here???????????????????????https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM1KG6TkF1chttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1QYF_Z0Cmgone…
According to Shu Yi, he has been trying to contact Shi De but he never reply (episode 1). Meanwhile, according to Shi De, he has been trying to contact Shu Yi but he never reply (episode 4).
So, the dad has somehow magically stop any contact between them two almost as soon as Shi De went to America. That's it really.
Still, there must be a less convoluted way to reveal this than what we got.
I appreciate them trying to fill the plot hole, but honestly it just became a lot more convoluted... Though I'm pretty sure that past will never be brought up again after this, so just let plot hole be plot hole and not overthink it.
I must say I’m a bit disappointed because I expected better quality in script and direction with all the hype…
Yes, Thanu & Padbok! Padbok showed up right when Wayu asked why Thanu took a break from uni, so they must've had a long history. Very likely that we'll get a lot more angsty staring contest between them.
