I think we again got fl with zero fighting power poking her nose everywhere. I really like the visuals and everything…
I'm not sure what you mean by "fighting power" but if you mean it literally, then why does she need to kickass and make up action scenes every few minutes? There are different types of strong, not just physical.

ok. we have a plot. but it doesn't look like it is going somewhere. it looks like it will be the same thing till…
uh maybe because .... it's literally the first two episodes? Very rarely does a plot move fast in the beginning lmao

what this has 40 eps??? even though it's only 30 mins long per ep, that's still very long for a kdrama.
I haven't started watching this drama yet but I think each episode is split into two parts - therefore 20 × 2 = 40. It officially has 20 episodes just that it's split into two for commercials and broadcasted separately, if I'm understanding correctly.

Definitely. All of them deserves the awards.

I really wonder what show was that, just pure curiosity, I'm not trying to be rude.
because putting two shows agaisnt each other and glorifying one makes the show better. Some people need to stop obssesing over which show is supposedly better because both, including the one you want to support, could be terrible to some people too

You people call this show a masterpiece? I'm laughing, my stomach can't take it. This is one of the most overrated…
I didn't find the show all that insteresting too so that I agree, but either way it brought in tourists around the world and more recognition for kdramas. You can't deny the success this drama had no matter how much you curse and whine over it. Stop acting like a child - don't like the show then stop talking about it, I really don't think because one person trashed-talked this drama fans would start hating it. You wasted even more time writing this para dear.

4.7% and 4.5% for this week's episodes. highest rating on its slot.
That's lower than I expected - for some reason many good shows are getting mediocre ratings this year and I'm wondering why.

Could you please help me,I really want to watch it but I can't find one other than YouTube
I usually watch it on Netflix, along with most of the other kdramas I've seen. If you don't have it then i suggest watching it on dramacool or myasiantv - I'm not quite sure about dramacool but I know myasiantv gives you the SBS version which includes some cut scenes not included in the international ver. Hope this helps!

Ah, TMOPB was really good. Probably one of my all time favorites even.

Your point isn't wrong, popular shows would attract more fans and therefore higher ratings. However, a drama being extremely popular also makes the chance of bandwagon haters as well as antis higher because as always some people can't stand the thought of success. I'd say IOTNBO has both these cases - MDL (and any other ratings) aren't totally reliable because everyone has a different taste. But the drama does deserve it's high ratings here.

If you don't want to read this "long essay", then just scroll pass it. This comment isn't necessarily a spoiler about the episodes, so why should the person need to add the spoiler tag? All YOU have to do is use your fingers/mouse and scroll pass it, that doesn't take long either does it?

I rewatched this drama a few days back and I have to say I'm liking Hae Soo lesser than before.
1) Wasn't she upset over the fact that her best friend started liking her boyfriend - and that she felt betrayed because of that? Then why on earth would she start liking the husband of her own cousin? She knew how it would affect Myung-Hee as she herself was in the position before, but made little effort to push Wook away. Then the moment her cousin died it became okay for her to pursue romance with him ... yeah no.
2) Most of the misfortunes that happened were because of her. She constantly told So not to kill his brothers after seeing her vision, which ultimately caused him to spare Yo and enabled him to take the throne. She left evidence of Eun all over Damiwon for Yeon-Hwa to find which led him to be captured and killed. I think this point really annoyed me because she was already warned not to interfere, but went against that yet still got shocked when she realised it was what she had done that caused all that. "I can stop problems from happening" no dear you just made them worse.
3) Love really blinded her. I understand she liked Wook very much, but even after knowing all the terrible intentions he had (plus that moment where he cowardly turned his back on her), she still saw a future with him? That moment where Court Lady Oh told her to be wary of Wook should have been a big clue, but of course our dear girl has absolute faith in him. "He has no intention of becoming King" so that was a complete lie. After awhile her persistence to continue and see Wook as a charming, good guy tired me out.
4) Now this one is possibly me not understanding her. In ep 19, she was all ready to leave the palace and even told So she began to despise him. The whole episode was basically her not being happy with him and thinking him as a villian for killing Chae-ryung. Yet in ep 20, she constantly wants him to come visit her and gets upset when he doesn't. Like make up your mind girl do you want to be with him or not. Wang So was absolutely right to say she was the one who abandoned him.
I really loved Hae Soo's bold character in the first few eps, and how she wasn't afraid to speak up. I loved how she brought happiness to the Princes and cared for them. But I find myself not being able to like her as much as I did when I first watched SHR, because now all her character flaws are becoming glaringly obvious.

Wait what the heck? Are they not aware of the characters condition? Jeez it's not okay but it was never meant…
Someone that doesn't praise this drama and doesn't agree with you isn't a hater dear. I've noticed for awhile now you rarely respect those that give their different and maybe not a favourable opinion on IOTNBO and usually attack them, not everyone is going to like the drama and I think you should understand that.

Guys what is this fuss about sexual harassment? Tell me it's not something too serious! The show didn't even have…
Really feeling people nowadays take everything to offence, a little abs showing and they'll label it as sexual harassment I tell you. If they really give sanctions to the drama (which I still doubt so), I'm going to need to talk to them because they must have watched a bonus scene or episode we did not to come to such conclusions smh

"How Gang Tae and Sang Tae Living Without mother?"That's a plot hole?
Okay, slow down. First of all, you're generalizing the whole film industry with that sentence - not all shows/movies allows you to sit down, watch and absorb everything. It's actually a pretty common thing where you make up your own version of what happened, your take and perspective. Here's what they're doing - this story was never about the lives of the brothers from past to present, the writers did not need to take up few episodes just to explain exactly how they lived, how they spent each day, etc. We as watchers have the freedom to imagine what happened and there's nothing wrong with that.

Next off, while I agree it's hard to say ST would be able to keep his job as a teenager with a disability, it is not impossible. Autistic people aren't completely useless and they can work in a normal environment. If we don't know exactly what happened, then you can't say he couldn't have done it. Like I said he might have been fired plenty of times, but at least money is earned.

Finally, I actually agreed with you while watching the first 10 eps - because JS was really some propt the writers used when the leads were in trouble. But as seen, he plays an important role in the brothers lives and we see he is equally as important to them as they are to him. That scene in ep 16 showed it all. Of course they could have made him more like a character in the start though.

"How Gang Tae and Sang Tae Living Without mother?"That's a plot hole?
We know ST has trouble keeping the job due to his truama, but that doesn't mean he can't work - did he not work for JS in the pizza shop? It could very well be the moment he gets fired they just move somewhere else or find a new job, they have to earn money either way. I can't really make out what you're saying about "the character and sacrificing etc" so can't answer that.

I think at this point most of us has acknowledged the one or two flaws in the drama, I just don't think this particular point is a mistake in writing because it was left for readers imagination and there was no need to spend like 1 episode explaining how they lived their lives.

"How Gang Tae and Sang Tae Living Without mother?"That's a plot hole?
I get what you mean but the drama wasn't centred around how the boys lived from the past till now - it isn't those long winded soap dramas that can explain every tiny detail to satisfy all viewers. It's called a healing drama so we focus heavily on that aspect and the directors probably didn't want to dive in deeply into the bothers living their lives before MY.

One possible explanation is that they rented small apartments from different places using money left over from their mother or by working (ST should be old enough to get an easy job) and met JS along the way.

Was it really necessary to compare though? Both dramas are good but of course everything is a competition
I think this drama is something koreans like (not saying everyone would like it but it seems to be their taste), adding on the fact that it is a continuation of a successful drama, I think it's obviously bound to get good ratings on the premiere. I just think comparing it to another drama is redundant since both are popular and that's established.

Netflix or not... The viewership ratings are higher than the finale of IONTBO...
