have you tried dramacool??? its free and has so many dramas of so many years. they upload episodes of all kinds…
Since you just refuse to watch it on recommended sites and Netflix isn't an option, then try VIU or Viki - those two are the only other platforms I know of.
Honestly, it wasn't the plot that bothered me the most (many people didn't like the mix of light & dark) but rather Bong Soon. It just wasn't realistic how she got her job when she a. couldn't give professional, beneficial ideas b. constantly whines about wanting a position when she doesn't have even 1% of experience. She got in solely because MH liked her - which in reality is the most annoying way to get a job. The other thing that annoyed me was her constant childlike attitude - she's supposedly 30 years old but acts like a teenager, pining away for her crush and doing aegyo every 5 seconds. Finally, it was the way they made her crazy over the second lead for more than half the drama then suddenly she choses MH - where's the development?
This turned into a rant lol. In short, I cringed all the way through SWDBS. (I can't deny the visuals in this were amazing though)
After episode 4 I'm starting to believe Rang doesn't really want to hurt yeon but rather he is doing it because…
It's because the beads are connected with her tears. Since she rarely cries, the beads can't appear - which is why when she shed tears when he was hurt he could then know it was her for sure
I just finished the first ep and kinda have mixed feelings. I like the vibe but everything is going to fast -…
Literally everyone thinks the same way about the female lead in the first episode but changed their mind in the second ep. I suggest watching a few more episodes to see if it's your taste because you rarely get much from the first episode
I don't know why they keep comparing it to Twilight, VD, Lucifer, Goblin, Odyssey etc etc. i think we have to…
It's a little annoying at times, like why not just enjoy the drama? I've seen so many comments not actually talking about the show rather just comparing it to another sigh
why so many criticism for this dram when I have see many worst series that had positive comments. Please stop…
I suppose the comments is a free space to voice out your opinions on the show. You can't stop people from disliking it, neither can you stop them from writing negative comments about it. I was also shocked at the number of disappointed reviews, but if the drama was good and living up to expectations, there wouldn't be so many of these comments would there?
I'm hesitant to watch this drama. The ratings have been high and stable for a cable channel - probably the first high rated drama in awhile. Yet after reading the comments, around 90% are talking about how disappointed they are with the drama and the plot going nowhere. Is this really a drama worth watching?
Overall it was quite a nice watch. But I find PMY's acting a little weird, I can't pinpoint exactly what I find so annoying about her acting but it's just how she ... acts? It's like in every scene I can just hear her thinking "I have to act like this, this is how I should look" and it ends up being so forced.
My thoughts exactly...and if you read YouTube comments the number of people who think her character is unique…
Exactly. I'm sure most of them would actually be horrified by those people in reality, but I guess since it's a drama and they filter it pretty, it comes off differently
I think there is a lot of ASPD than you just stated. Try reading a little more research articles on it. I did…
Honestly I'm not an expert in that aspect so I can't really judge if she does 100% have ASPD, some say yes, while some have proven her not to have. Either way MY is messed up and I think it's concerning how people are glorifying the character (acting wise Ye Ji was amazing) as well as the romance.

Why did they even chose this to have a character this complicated anyway - it's clear they can't handle it. I suppose they might have wanted a strong badass female lead and went about it the wrong way. Everyone keeps saying how "refreshing" it is to have such a character, but the more I think about it it's actually so messed up.
Personally, LMH might just be the most overhyped actor I've ever seen. His visuals are praised everywhere, but they are honestly just average - put him with the other handsome actors and he'll be the least swoon worthy one there. His acting skills are even worse off, it's just the same few robotic expressions and long awkward staring, although at least he improved over the years. I guess his acting ruined the flow of the drama to me - TKEM had potential, but failed to deliver.
The reason why i think she is badass is because she stands up for her rights and respects the people who truly…
I agree with the second paragraph - isn't it a big slap in the face for those who have ASPD and to think a show has just shown it can be "cured" after finding love?
As for the kidnapping situation, I think her being manipulative actually fell on using ST to make KT stay with her. The big problem was that. It was used to get the plot moving but the writers failed to realise just how toxic and devious that was. And the "I love you" scene was terrible as well. It was iconic and also funny, but her real intention at the moment was to manipulate KT, which he ignored, hence her outburst.
To be honest if I could rewrite the show, it wouldn't be a romance plot. All three of them needed therapy and two of them did not go about it the right way.

I'm actually referring to the fans who support her manipulative actions, calling it cool and unique. There are quite a lot of examples of her terrible behaviour - especially in the first half. And I don't think she is diagnosed with ASPD, confirming it is not the same as potraying it. Honestly I'm so disappointed at how they handled this aspect because they basically shoved it under a rug and made it a romance plot.
Okay, I'm going to voice out an issue I had while watching IOTNBO.
The show never expands on MY and her supposed ASPD. I mean it's in the synopsis, it's been acknowledged by most of the fans of the show, but is she really diagnosed with that? My takeaway after watching - no. MY just had traumas as a child and developed coping mechanisms which were unhealthy. And a thought that keeps bugging me is that the show may have used ASPD as a plot device to excuse MY of her actions because it's obvious many of them were toxic.
This also brings me to another point. I've seen many people calling her manipulative behaviour "badass" and I'm just feeling ... not quite right about it. It's one thing to have a strong female lead, but it's a totally different thing to have a lead that does questionable actions. So my question is do you guys think all she did is really excusable? Like I'm genuinely asking because I just don't feel right about it.
The disconnect between the people still posting tepid or negative reviews and the fact that, months and many reviews…
MDL ratings are usually filled with a. crazy fans that can't let the show be criticised b. haters with no jobs other than to hate the show with all their heart. There is some truth to the fact that, type a. fans would always try and bring the ratings up and use different methods to do so. It's also the reason why MDL ratings and sometimes even the comments can't be depended on.
ughhh have you watched chdramas lol korea barely uses it
To be honest, yeah if you compare cdramas and kdramas, it's clear the former sticks to the few same tropes. In fact when compared I think kdramas have many interesting plots and shows
