I'm loving the drama overall but I do have a tiny problem.
My take is that Da Mi isn't very well off, and while that isn't a big plot point, it has been emphasized on a few times. However, her bags and accessories are from luxurious brands that cost a lot - it's contradictory and a little distracting to see her carrying products that addresses her as rich. I get it's probably product placement or because Suzy is the brand ambassador, but maybe the stylist should check out some second-hand stores lol.
It's impossible to please everyone's taste, you never know give it a try.
Calm down, she/he didn't insult you did they? You're supposedly an adult but here in this comment section it's like you're a child defending their favourite show.
When people mention not liking this drama (politely of course, mean comments are wrong too), you become passive aggressive over it. Winsty is right in saying you ALWAYS mention those dramas you didn't like - which is fine but we get it. You don't have to keep mentioning them just to make your point. If someone were to keep bringing up not liking TOTNT, I have a strong feeling you'd get annoyed too. So stop this attitude you have with comments that don't agree with you, it's been going on awhile now and I think it's something to point out.
Except that Lee Yeon already saved her life at least 5 times. If that isn't damsel in distress... Juuuuustttt…
don't bother with that user. I've had a (pointless) argument with them before and it was infuriating, they acted as if the world was going to end if I didn't start praising the show. You just can't start with those kind of people.
ahn min hyuk is shown to be someone who does what he wants to without caring about what others think so it was…
oh honey I don't have the time to read that long essay of yours - I apologise if some of your quesitons remain unanswered because I'm not reading all of that.
My overall point still stands; SWDBS has plenty of flaws and the execution of character should have been done better. That's all.
I've seen you in other comment sections, and you tend to argue with personal feelings and potray them as facts. All you do is answer my points with the opposite, because that's how YOU feel is correct. And I don't see a point arguing with such a person. It's clear we agree to disagree, so let's leave it at that.
but people dont like that 10%.... almost everyone wants the ML to be heroic and larger than life... kdrama audience…
Or they just follow the standard "perfect male lead" trope because it's the safest. Most writers just don't bother to have a unique character due to uncertainty if it's well received - they follow the usual tropes but add in a few touches of their own. It's the secure way I guess, but I wish more would try something unique.
after watching all 16 eps, I come to the conclusion that basically nothing really happened. I'm not totally sure what the show was trying to portray (is it facing hardships?) but it was just like a boring recap on everyday life. Now I understand why so many people were complaining about this show, it isn't anything great. However, I'd say the acting and cinematography wasn't that bad.
(Also what's with the constant cameos? After awhile those served no purpose. Another thing is that ROY got pretty high ratings ... was it because the cast had hype?)
Goodness! you have too much to say about the female lead, but none about the two male leads, are they perfect…
First of all, READ my reply to you again and understand in no way was I praising the male leads. They too have messed up behaviour but my comment was to highlight the female lead and her problems - which are always brushed off. You clearly don't check your facts because the male leads are always under fire and their problems are always called out, but HS? I've barely seen anyone discuss about her so I did.
And I find it so ironic you're going on a rampage on how it's "not fair" I "pushed the blame" to HS when you're doing the exact same thing but to the male leads. You want 'equality' so bad? Then go write a long paragraph of your own hating WS all you want because apparently HS is an angel and did no wrong.
Lastly - "why is the woman always at fault" ... because in this case she IS? Like I said it's technically the writers bad writing, HS made some stupid decisions and had so many character flaws. At this point I can't help but laugh at you, this has nothing to do with genders but go off I guess.

And where in my comment did I ever indicate the male leads were perfect? Please point it out to me because I don't think I wrote anything of that sort.
If you noticed, the female lead is rarely called out on her behaviour (or should I say the terrible writing of her character) and so I decided to talk about some of those flaws. I don't see how that's a problem.
I enjoyed the first 3 episodes very much but somehow just could not find the interest to continue watching after the 5th ep. I think what's lacking for me is the chemistry - LDW and JBA just do not match. Don't get me wrong they're definitely better than a lot of pairings out there, but other than being two attractive leads, they just feel awkward together. Another thing I've noticed is that both of them radiate the "I'm acting as a character" energy, it just feels very obvious it's a show with them acting as the leads - and not very natural.
I'm still giving the next ep a last shot though because of Lee Rang (never expected to like him the most out of all the characters lol)
Those 4 eps were more fast paced/action-packed so you guys might find this week's eps boring in comparison but…
That's not the direction ep 6 was going to though. They introduced too many new characters and added more plots to the already messy main plot which is why many did not enjoy it as much as the first few eps.

At this point it's clear you refuse to accept the fact that BS was only handed the job because she had connections, and that her attitude is NOT how a person should behave at work. If anyone were to act like that at work, trust me they'd be fired on the spot. She was clearly given the spot to move the plot, which is fine, they should have made her character better in those aspects though.
there is no other drama as good as this among the on air ones.
Then go watch those and give them a high rating. Different people will have different tastes, don't expect everyone to dislike the show just because you didn't.
The dramas mentioned hasn't finished airing yet either, so what makes those so special that they can be judged unfinished while this one can't?
ahn min hyuk is shown to be someone who does what he wants to without caring about what others think so it was…
Here's the thing - BS attitude at work. You know, for a person who literally got handed a job by her lover, she doesn't seem to have the correct mindset. And all she does is whine and mope around - basically a spoiled child. Honestly Bong Soon's unprofessional attitude makes her the type of nasty people to work with. BS should be proving herself since she has zero experience and background (she was even jobless up till that point), not complaining and acting as if the workplace was her own home. MH made a risky move promoting her - to put such an incapable employee in a major team is a bad business move.
You keep pointing out how it isn't meant to be taken seriously, and to some extent I agree. After all its dramaland where plot points aren't often expanded properly. Still, isn't it a flaw?

That's not how jobs work. You don't get promoted to a whole other occupation that easily - you need qualifications, training etc. Rarely does someone go from being a bodyguard to working in a game company in a matter of months, it's not realistic at all. And as shown in that few episodes when she worked, she did not help in much ways and it's plain obvious how she actually got the job. If she actually applied for it properly, without knowing MH, I assure you she wouldn't be considered.
As for being cute, I don't mind that. But it's so overdone in BS case that I couldn't take her seriously. There's a difference between having fluffy scenes and acting like a child.
