bruh, I’m saying it literally became 'Famous' after its Bts got leaked months ago, for a reason. Not because of bots or paid promos. If that were the case, I’ve watched so many Bts videos leak during filming, why didn’t those dramas break the heat index or whatever? It’s actually really good.. the story, the pacing, the beautiful cast and acting, the cinematography, everything. If you don’t like it, then please don’t trash talk it. You’re just inviting unnecessary hate. Instead, you can go watch something you like.

Hey Idk about the popularity on Chinese platforms, but as an international fan I can say that this drama has been trending a lot on social media for the past few months. Many people were patiently waiting for it to air so in that sense it’s more popular than dramas that only become popular after they finish airing.

I mean, they had to show the impact of him losing his career, which isn’t even a desk job but neurosurgery. And tbh the overtime work he gave her was pretty much nothing, it only looked like too much because the FL made a big deal out of it. Like she said, she’s pretty lazy when it comes to work. He mostly did it to make her more responsible, the way a teacher would with a favourite student. But yeah he did nothing toxic like the SML, who really did a number on her. Yusen did do a few things for personal reasons though, if he didn’t even do that we wouldn’t think of him as human
