This is definitely not a comedy. I cried so much 😭

The first half was so good and the second half feels like a total different show. Such a shame of the potential it could have been.

I really liked this drama and the discovery of so many beautiful places in China. The main actors visuals were stunning and the storyline & chemistry really addictive. However, the promotion of nationalism was really evident, which was not always necessary for the storyline. 9.5/10

If you want a light hearted romantic comedy with elements of fantasy, history and cooking then this is the show to watch!

This season can be watched as a stand-alone versions.

This show was surprisingly very good with well written cases and characters. A lot of unpredictability here which keeps me on the edge of my seat! 9/10.

Good storyline and acting. No dragging out of episodes and maintaining the quality until the end.

Starting from episode 16 until episode 30, I lost my attention and interest. It got really draggy and I skipped a lot of scenes in between. I hope the last few episodes make up for it, cause I really got hooked the first 15 episodes!

Finished all the episodes in three days! The scenery shots are so beautiful. The leads are pretty and have great chemistry together. They can act too. The cast is also excellent. Strong female leads and realistic strategy thinking. The story played out perfectly (mix of fantasy, romance, war, costume, thriller). I usually don’t watch a lot historical political fantasy dramas, but this one kept me hooked. Will rewatch for sure.

A bit rushed the last few episodes, but overall worth watching! A lot of good lessons and the acting was superb! I love strong female characters!!

Sorry I tried to continue watching it, but dropped at episode 5. No chemistry between the main leads and lack of a storyline. I do admire the mom’s personality so if the drama was more focussed on her life I would find it more appealing

Somewhere from episode 7 onwards the drama went downhill, I was forwarding a lot of scenes

Loved this slice of life drama! Very realistic and so many life messages. I can really relate with a lot of the characters, dealing with unsatisfaction in work and relationship with family & friends. The process of searching what makes us truly happy! Truly a gem! Oh and Crystal Liu is such a goddess, hope she plays in more modern series!

Okay the last few episodes were so depressing to watch 😭

Plot is not that special. Good chemistry, easy watch. The OST brings out the mysterious sexy vibe between the leads. 8/10

Just needed some fluffiness in my life and this drama gives me that. It has a simple storyline and no necessary drama. Just a typical university love life story which is nice! Sometimes you don't need to be that critical

Good youth drama, well-written characters and sweet romance between the leads.
Zhe Yuan makes his character so charismatic. He can mesmerize the audience with his eyes alone! And Rainbow is adorable, I already loved watching her dance on stage, but seeing her act make me love her more!

The romance builds up slowly, it's very cute. No love triangles and lovable side characters. The main couple resolve everything together and really communicate (which is rare)
