I am neither an Indian nor from India, but I sincerely feel that your second sentence might indirectly hurt/offend our friends who are from India or an Indian.

From whatever little knowledge that I have: Not everyone who lives in India watches Bollywood movies because there are multiple languages used among the different regions of the country. The Indian movie industry is very diverse. Bollywood movies are more known worldwide, but they are actually catered more to the Hindi speaking consumers in the country, just like how they have Kollywood movies for Tamil speaking consumers, etc. So therefore, we should try not to generalize that all Indians watches Bollywood. They might be watching Kollywood instead. Or maybe they are like me, who dont really watch their own race's movies or dramas 😅.

I know that it is difficult for us to be racially sensitive if we do not have enough awareness about those races that is not our own, but let us all keep learning to be one.

(I tried to be as neutral and polite as possible for this comment. Sorry if I unintentionally offended anyone due to my lack of vocabulary or writing skills.)

Its romance is slow burn but since both were best friends from the start, there's great chemistry throughout the whole drama 🙌🏾

Unfortunately not all the supporting characters are pleasant to watch. Some are waaay too annoying (*cough*younger sis*cough*). Luckily they are not that important, that I can skip their storyline halfway through the drama without missing much.

This has one of the best SML characters I've ever watched so far. I can ship the ML & FL soo badly, but still love the SML - which is rare. He is a mature and gentlemanly character who still respects others, especially in a love triangle. Kudos to the writers for that.

Its not entirely an esport drama, but the first half of You Are My Glory is heavily on esport. None of the leads are gamers, but FL is an esport endorser who's trying to improve her gaming skills.

The ending is tragic but satisfying. It completes the story, so I don't mind it - in fact, I love it.
Romance-wise, there's a whole spectrum (cute, happy, frustrating, heartbreaking moments - it's all there). And there's on-screen chemistry between the leads (so that's a plus plus plus point).

And if you've watched Devil Judge and remember how annoying that 601 guy is there.... Urghhh! double the punching-the-pillow frustration.

The ending did show him and the representative ahjumma at court. So I assume both of them will get punished by law for their crimes.

I need more. That ending is not enough 😭

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Started this blindly cause of the casts (didn't even read the synopsis & the genre), so the 'no expectations' greatly contributed to my overall enjoyment.
It's a blend of 'a life of a ranger' + 'mystery serial killings' instead of full on about the murders like other thrillers. I guess because the forest ranger theme is alrdy unique enough to be a drama on its own, it didn't bother me as much even if they make the mystery portion like a side story.

But that ending 😭😭 shipped hyunjo & yikang soo much that an open ended ending is not enough 😭 (though i can understand if the writer want to leave their relationship status to the viewers' imaginations)

I was bawling my eyes out when GuJian died. And it totally wasn't because of GJ physical death, but cause I can feel how LCY is dying emotionally. It must have broke him sooo bad. 😭😭 soo angry at how insignificant GJ view his comradeship with LCY and General Pei, and he still dare to selfishly play the victim+hero card 🤬

It doesn't feel too draggy to me. Didnt fast forward at all except for characters that I'm extremely annoyed with towards the last 10ep 😅

I'm the binger-type. Learned throughout my kdrama experience that my brain is quite sensitive towards these 2 things (they will kill my overall feels for the drama). (1) watch it ongoing - cause I'm the type who will forgot what happened aft a few days (2) listening to the ost before watching - i need to associate the happenings with the music, so it doesnt help if my brain has alrdy associated that particular ost with my other daily activities.

Now back to The Veil, I just finished it - binged in 4 days. I truly enjoyed it as a whole, from the storyline to the acting to the OST. Confusion wise, I cant say that I'm free from that. Especially when it comes to the names. There's too many characters' names that matter for me to be able to catch up with. but I just went on with it. Didnt rewatch any parts, but still able to enjoy it and understand the whole storyline. Though it did came off as a quite intense drama for me to binge nonstop - I do need a breather from time to time.

I guess different people have different preferences. I would recommend you to go with what suits you best. There will definitely be 'mistakes' here and there while you figure out your best drama preferences, so that's fine. Mine came with 'lots of watching & rewatching every single week with King2Hearts' and 'a totally ruined emotional experience when the music play in Scarlet Heart' XD

Ep21 ending is oh so satisfyingggg 💆🏽‍♀️ never have I ever watch a script that made me felt this kind of extreme satisfaction before 💃💃

And I'm glad i totally misunderstood the ending 😂 I thought she wrote the book BASED on her body switch experience. Until I read the comments here that I realized it meant that the whole drama was her book's plot 🤦🏽‍♀️ no wonder something feels off

his character has one of the best character development I've watched so far. and their relationship development too (aft they got tgt) - its a relationship done right (psychologically speaking)

Yup I did, with lots of fast-forwarding & 1.5-2x speed.
Started this for Kim Jae Wook, so forced myself to finish this for his screen time too. Would have dropped it otherwise.

Wait. I'm confused. Why do the comments written here is as if Season 1 ended with a cliffhanger?

I personally felt that it ended with a happy ending. Yes maybe a slight cliffhanger, but only to tell us that "hey, the characters are gonna continue living their life like this" - its not an ending that needed a Season 2 (just like if a romcom end with a marriage proposal, we can leave their wedding and marriage life to our imagination).
If they gonna make a Season 2, I'm more than happy to embrace it. But if they dont, it's fine too cause the storyline is complete.

And yes, I'm not denying that some other Kdramas have been following the US show format, ended with actual cliffhanger endings and incomplete stories like Arthdal Chronicles, Kingdom & Sweet Home.
But Taxi Driver is definitely not one of those in my opinion.
