I came here with full knowledge that this is a typical LYN's character (aka character death). But didnt expect it to be for the whole main cast characters. What a traumatising drama π
My thoughts exactly. π₯² I could accept everything else better if she at least show a bit of empathy towards NH. I can understand it when they are not together yet, although my own heart was in so much pain for NH.
But that part after NH had been stabbed twice. And she asked him to correct her pillow for her?! Wth girl. He almost died for you. And im pretty sure his injury is not healed yet during that scene...? I was soo turned off for the romance afterwards. To me, its too much one sided love and care from NH, and barely any from her. It was abit better towards the end, but abit too late for me. My heart has turned sour alrdy π
And to watch this aft POB makes it even more painful for me π LYN's character got soo much care there, but he ended up with no care here π₯Ίthe contrast ππ
Finished the whole drama just for NH and the storyline. Skipped through their romance scenes.
Anyone else feel the FL is a bit miscast? Nothing against the actress, but I just can't shake the feeling that…
I keep seeing Bai Lu in the character too, especially for the first few episodes π it took me alot of conscious effort to keep mentally telling myself 'this is not bailu' haha. But i thought its just cause this is my first time watching Li Yi Tong.... π€
she gets over the SML pretty quick, with the ML it takes a looong time like around ep. 30 but she is justified…
Oh my god. I still have 4 more episodes to 30. I'm in the middle of ep26 now and my LYN bias side is totally thinking "FL better grovel on her knees for the way she's treating Nan Heng now" I hate her omg πππππ can someone go and give Nan Heng a hug. That poor boy π
Trying to watch other new dramas but failing miserably. Maybe I'll just re-watch π
I'm rewatching it now too, using 'lets compare the subs on different platforms' as a reason. π€ 1st watch: Netflix 2nd watch (now): WeTV And i still have Viu for a 3rd warch if needed π
Surprisingly i understand and appreciate the first 3 episodes more this time round. Since I'm familiar with all the names of characters and cities mentioned.
I'm sooo glad i watched this ππ its sooo good - mature main characters - very good writing with great character development - a lot of lovable supporting characters - and the acting! Top notch ππ½ especially the FL's facial expressions ππ½
Finally watched this after waiting for 6 months! π That was a very long wait π₯²
I would say this movie is a perfect introduction to the Cells at Work & Code Black anime. Would definitely recommend for others to watch this movie first before the animes. I looove their educational anime but it can sometimes be abit too heavy on the biological terms for me. So this movie is much more easier to absorb for general public who do not have much bio knowledge. The switches between real life and cell life is definitely a plus point! Makes it sooo much easier to understand and more relatable to us.
I heard this is similar to Love Me Love My Voice. Is this true? If so, i don't think I'll watch this because i…
I binged this right after bingeing LMLMV, and i would say I like this more. Both dramas have a similar overall feel good romance. No love triangle, they just focus on building the relationship of the main characters. But this, i feel, has better character development for both ML & FL. LMLMV focuses too much on ML only, and the FL script tend to focus on herself more than providing emotional support to the ML (which annoyed me). This drama has better script in my opinion. I would say this is more similar to You Are My Glory + Meet Yourself than LMLMV.
Ps. The billiard scenes in the 2nd half of the drama are sooo cool. You can totally see the effort the actors have put in for those shots π
had to drop this cuz i dont have time to waste on it regardless of my love for the leading actors. would rather…
She felt that their love was cursed. She had to kill someone to protect him, and he had to kill too to protect her. For someone who values life, there's too much death involved (and many more in the future) just for them to be together. And she can't see how they can live happily ever after, after all these ordeal. Therefore she decided to kill him first, and then proceed to kill herself right afterwards with the same sword. That's what her mindset was when she killed him. Though it didn't exactly happened according to her plan.
Major plot hole to me: Whats the point of putting Doha into JunOn's body if they're gonna stop developing that part of the plot. Apparently he is a superstar only when its 'convenient' for the storyline, and is totally invisible to the public for the rest of the time.
However, that painful love story between Doha & Han Rita is definitely good. So good that I can binge watch this in just 3 days. Definitely a waste of potential.
Watched this for Ha Seok Jin. Knew that he has the brains from Problematic Man. But this show really brought my admiration of him to a new different level. How he was soo level headed throughout. How he's very firm in his beliefs too. I feel that if the others wasn't strongly excluding him out, it would be very interesting to see how he form other alliances (in games) but still makes the whole thing an individual game. And the best part of all, how he stayed true to those in his inner circle. How human and genuinely vulnerable he was when See Won lose her game, when he wanted both of them to benefit from it. Now I need a drama with both of them! even if its only in fiction, let my ship sail~~
I feel that people like these are the true heroes of these kind of shows, regardless if they won or not. Just like Joon Bin too. He knows he plays for himself, he isn't afraid to show that he plays for himself through humor, and he puts in his best effort for himself. And even when he lose, I feel like he's a winner to himself.
Nice romcom, but too much plots without proper/satisfying ending.
Bang Soo Ah's storyline. She definitely was going down the rabbit hole with her exam anxiety (or whatever they called it). Was even mentioned in the drama that hers is considered a serious case, with the hallucinations and all. But a few episodes later, poof it was gone and healed just like that? No intervention was done. No help was given to her. If writer wanna mention something as serious as mental illnesses in the drama, they could hv done better and provide rational solutions/cure to educate whoever's watching. Mental illnesses (especially this thats partly due to her mom's obsession and her ingrained thoughts that she has to be the top) dont just vanish into thin air like that.
And Ji Dong Hee's storyline. I wasn't totally unsatisfied with it but.... They could hv saved and helped him! π He's clearly not a psychotic killer doing random killings, but a product of abuse. The fact that he cant save his sister so he obsessively protect the person dearest to his sister is just.... ππ He deserve a better ending pls. Even though the most rational alternate ending is him living in a mental institute for life. Thats still better than suicide to me π
This is such a wasted potential. It started great. I didn't like the ML at first, preferred SML. I find him more…
Exactly!! And she even got mad at him for working with his ex to clean up the mess?! I genuinely liked her character for the first half. She was supposed to be a very mature & responsible character, but somehow end up extremely childish & unprofessional from there onwards. What a waste.
And its Liu Yu Ning. I heard that his character always dies in his dramas LOL except for his latest 2 dramas, POB and ADWAD.
