fauxfaucet

Finished this drama and it was extremely disappointing. Should've known the second they decided to force a very silly love triangle/love square in a noir crime thriller for some odd reason. Good mc and I liked his growth and conflict but he was the only standout character in this series, everyone else was either very bland or used as plot devices. I will say I really liked bibi in this and this is my first time seeing her acting. She killed her role in this! overall I still enjoyed it despite the sloppiness but the only reason this seems to be praised is because it's one of the few gang crime dramas out there. There's better korean movies about this.

One of the worst shows I think I've ever watched. Actually laughable how it tried to portray the trauma of being bullied but does a shit job at it without ever actually expanding on it. Relies on too many flashbacks that simply waste time even though the drama is already short enough so you'll get episodes with a bunch of flashbacks and plot conveniences. Also by farrrr the most useless cop I've seen in anything. 4/10.

don't necessarily agree with S-lines and discovery of love but walking on thin ice is indeed a heavy hitter and a drama I would consider to be great but I was more curious about what shows you meant when you refer to the "cesspool of entertainment" because if you mean western shows then I still think there are some good shows being put out that aren't mindless sex or violence. HEAVILY agree with your last sentence lol, garbage dramas.

looking forward to GYJ acting in something different than the usual dogshit boring cliche romance and also excited to see Oh Jung-Se.

looks like it' gonna be a heavy slice of life which I think I'll enjoy especially since I like GYJ and Oh Jung-Se but that other guy looks craaaazy lmao.

Are you a fan of this drama?

Possibly the most overrated drama of all time lmao. idk what spells people fell under to love this generic garbage so much.

dude blocked immediately cuz I dared to insult his king seonho lmfao. coward.

the only saving grace of both this and doona is that the female leads were nice to look at and the cinematography was good.

Great review.

shame to see such a beautiful woman paired up with this botched monster but the drama itself was pretty mediocre like I expected from a netflix original.

"kdramas require some thinking and good sense of humor" who lied to you?

Excellent write up. So weird to see this drama with such a high rating when it just fails in every aspect.

She’s a gorgeous woman but her acting has never been that good. Her acting works here luckily because she’s playing a stoic character.

Lol I have the exact same thoughts on her and chae soo bin. Love them both and I think they’re great actresses but I would really love to see them in something different than their usual roles.

She’s gorgeous

The atmosphere of this series is so great and I love all the characters so I’m surprised to see the 7.9 rating damn.

That’s why the internet exists you ape. You look it up and you see the proof that he was convicted. It IS weird that someone is so worried about korean celebrities yes glad you can see it. It’s giving obsessed with people who don’t know you and will never know you.

So saying he was a bit scummy for cheating means I dragged him just as bad as knetz did to the point of death? Also you clearly are just too defensive of korean celebrities, I saw your other comment asking for proof of lee kyung young’s conviction trying to paint him as a victim lmfao. It’s kinda funny atp.

Good take, the selective outrage is hilarious from this guy.
