- Angel's Last Mission isnt really RR imo looking back yes she is badass and he is cuter but other than that i dont see much of the trope - Backstreet Rookie: yeah i really wanted to like it! - Crash Landing on You: yeah same here its not really RR ughhh - Encounter: lmaooo whyyy tho ?? - It's Okay to Not Be Okay: 1000% The best example of RR !!!! THISSSS !!! - The Glory: YASSSS - Love Scout: YAAAASSSSS x2 - The Judge from Hell: YAAAAASSSSSSS x3 - Why Her?: its always amazing to start smth without expectations and ending up being amazing like this hehe - Call Boy: it issss - See You in My 19th Life: IKR I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE IT TOO UGH - Inspector Koo: well i rated it 6 also there is no romance involved and it went downhill :((( - My Father Is Strange: Lee YooRi x Ryu Suyeon i also forgot to mention that the drama has PEAK COMEDYYYY FRRR
Sooo i surely have seen a small portion of this list and i wanted to delve into it more now that im aware of the RR trope hehe, here are my notes oop (these are just my personal opinion :") :
Angel's Last Mission: Love: so uhm as the title states it there is an angel x human relationship in the drama and i do see it now bc it has also the ML chases the FL trope. The FL also being puppy material does help.
Backstreet Rookie: i dropped it even though it has my pookie :"))) idk i could not feel the chemi between the leads
Crash Landing on You: this is a wholesome drama tbh, i can't remember RR content being in it but it might need a rewatch from me to be able to spot it :")
Encounter: this was a very calm drama to me, so i ended up dropping it
It's Okay to Not Be Okay: this falls very hard into the RR trope tbh it should be a national anthem for RR lovers ehehe
The Glory: who said puppy??? someone said puppy....??, idk did u say puppy yeah well apart from the revenge trope done well, the dynamics between the leads is amazing, quite visible in the second season
Love Scout: i mean i have been yodelling abt this drama since i started watching it frfr the dynamics are super refreshing ML is the entire housewife package and FL is the absolute opposite, their chemistry is just fire
The Judge from Hell: badass FL + puppiest puppy ML tbh
Why Her?: as u cld see from the screenshots i sent u this is a heaven for RR lovers tbh all in all , older FL x Younger ML / teacher x student oof we love to see it
Call Boy: tbh this shows a side i never knew of prostitution, it also is very raw and shows realistic emotions
She Would Never Know: dropped and i cant remember why
Spellbound: rated 6 and i cant remember why
The Beauty Inside: yes its an enjoyable watch , the ML is such a green flag too
See You in My 19th Life: though this had so much potential, to me it was wasteful as the directing was not IT i mean too bad bc the FL was amazing and outdid the ML
Inspector Koo: though the FL is such a badass cool queen but it kinda went downhill for me and felt super messy after the first few episodes
Playful Kiss: one of the classics but if i'd watch it now the FL would annoy me tbh :"))
Witch's Court: yes i loved the dynamics but it got quite repetitive
Extraordinary Attorney Woo: i mean yes we had a green flag puppy ML like he had to be protected but i blame the directors for making it super repetitive i was getting bored :((
My Father Is Strange: one specific couple was sooo RR i remember feeling refreshed whenever they were on screen overall this is the only really long kdrama i have ever watched and it was worth it!!
I want to watch this but the rape puts me off. What a sick bastard, rape is disgusting and even more disgusting…
Tbh u should not i am traumatized for life i cant help but feel so bad for the entire situation the poor ML was put in i cant even word it properly bc of how much it impacted me
