I take misunderstandings about mental illness seriously. Your words aren't disrespectful to the drama or the character, they're disrespectful to people with schizophrenia.

If you don't mean schizophrenic, don't say schizophrenic. Schizophrenia is a mental disorder and using it alongside words like "weirdo" and "freak" is disrespectful and unhelpful.

Ah, thank you. Saka no Ue no Kumo is now a priority watch! Japanese literature was actually my first Asia-related love, and Soseki my inspiration for learning to read Japanese.

I'm curious, what did you watch that featured Soseki? (I Am a Cat is a great read by the way. :))

I liked it too. There's not much substance to it, but the characters are lovable and the comedy isn't grating.

I gave up trying to like any of that family when no one mourned or even acknowledged Tatsuya's death.

An American K-drama remake will probably turn out better than any British drama remake. It's not like Korean drama is some gold standard of creativity.

The women in this drama are awful, awful people. And I like Hirosue Ryoko but Sawako's permanent doyagao is driving me insane. She's not a sympathetic character at all.

Shin Se Kyung's laugh is really annoying. But she's cute, so whatever.

I wish cute girls had taught me maths back in school.

Ugh. Ohkura's acting in that trailer. I'm not sure Takei Emi's prettiness can counter it this time.
