I am sorry, but I hate romance in dramas-unless it is a romantic drama. I do not want to watch romance in every…
That's what I'm saying lmao. Like they didn't need to have a romantic plot!!! The story is already interesting!!! Why half ass a romantic storyline when you've got a whole fascinating scifi/fantasy?! T_T
... but since you're asking, I've been trying to figure out how the time travel works.... I don't think the time traveler is the FM lead.... the person who saved him had very short hair. So! I propose it was actually Detective Shin Jae!!!! She has already said several times how he is someone who will drop everything to help someone. Plus we know he is a good shot. There's no way it isn't him!!!! >:D
Now.... as for how the time travel happens, it has to do something with the flute. The question then is how?! We already know there is a liminal space between the two worlds where an hour there is a minute in the real world. This is our first hint at the flute's relationship with time. We also know that the flute can be used to extend someone's lifetime and essentially keep their body frozen in time, never aging. But is it that it never ages or that it is always reversing at the same rate as he is aging? Who knows... But, if it is the latter, then it is a demonstration of time travel at a slow rate. My question is now, how does it activate?! What is it that he does exactly to make the flute work like that? It can't just be a side effect of having the flute because otherwise the king would have also been forever a boy after receiving it from the Head Lady. So then is it that only half of the flute has the power to manipulate time or that there is something special one must do in order for it to work that way?! It's very interesting and I'm looking forward to learning more about the flute's powers....
hahah just looking at how many spoilers are in the comments (not reading any so don't tell me any!) it feels like this show must cause a bunch of controversy haha. i'm a little curious now.
The plot is interesting but the romance is terrible! It feels like an editor said, "this is an amazing story, but we can't film it unless there's romance" and so they just shoved it in there. It feels so half-hearted and she has basically no say in it? I would be scared of him, not in love with him if I was treated like that. "you can only leave when i let you" like??????? tf i got my dad at home, i got my job, why tf are you treating me like this...... At least the acting is good, but come on writers.... really? Don't bother with writing in a romance plot if you're going to do it so poorly...
There are dramas with second lead winners! Let me know if you'd like me to recommend some.
The ML in The Producers is the new kid and he has a crush on the FL. The second lead in it is her best friend.
With Oh My Ghostess the ghost's character is more central to the story so I consider her the FM lead. She doesn't end up with the chef though, the other girl does.
If ifans follow the tragic news in South Korea you will have an extra hard time watching. You aren’t supposed…
Yeah I think that's why they had a help line at the end of each episode. I wouldn't be surprised if the drama was made to discourage kids and help them find help.
What a rideKim Dong Hee was brave to take a role like this considering the current real case of Nth room in South…
You know I wonder if it wasn't really a game for her. I feel like it was her escape and after a while, she began to feel like she needed Ji Soo because he was the only one who could tolerate her twistedness, or at least let her run wild. If I remember correctly, it was Ji Soo who hung on to the idea of her thinking it was a game, but I don't think that's how she felt by the end of it.
I just finished this show and I came to gush about how amazing it was!!!this is one of the best drama couple that…
haha I feel the same way. I actually stopped watching the show for a while, but eventually finished and rated it 10/10. It was refreshing to see a story that gives a side of history often overlooked, the political dynamics of women. The main character was also so interesting, rutheless and yet someone you want to cheer on. The end game enemy was also fun to watch, and I loved hating her. She was careful and meticulous, multi-faceted, and always made you question where her goals really lay. Ultimately, I think it came down to survival. What an interesting drama, dynamics, and heart in this story. Ahhhhhh I wish I could watch more!
